Convenient hotelPosted May 21, 2015
The hotel is close to Pikes Market and the transit system. The staff is wonderful. When then gentleman at the front desk found out my daughter had just graduated from law school he waived our parking fee as a gift. Nice! Then when we returned from dinner we found a congratulations card signed by the staff and a chocolate bar. They went way above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one! Overrides our very inattentive waitress in the bar. I would definately stay again.

Wonderful.Posted May 20, 2015
The staff was friendly. When I arrived they had an extreme amount of phone calls at the front desk and because I had to wait they upgraded my room. I had a drink at the bar the bartender let me read the history the bar and hotel. Great place just to stop in and chat with travellers. I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful hotel in downtown SeattlePosted May 16, 2015
Pros: See above comments.
Cons: See above comments.
Location: Perfect downtown location. Able to walk or quickly access public transportation to everything in the city.
We had no idea what to expect, having never been to Seattle. Pulled up, very tired from driving all day, to a beautiful, well-preserved older downtown hotel. First view was such a relief (we've had some less thrilling experiences with on-line bookings) and the valet staff and doormen were immediately at the car, taking charge of luggage and parking. Check-in was equally efficient. The lobby, bar and restaurant, elevators and rooms are elegant, lovely, beautifully decorated, and so clean. All hotel personnel with whom we interacted were polite and helpful. We loved everything about our stay and will certainly stay at the Mayflower Park when we are again in Seattle.

Consistently fabulous downtown Seattle hotel!Posted May 15, 2015
The staff at the Mayflower are so welcoming - we have stayed there several times and have never been disappointed. The decor is elegant and warm. The location is amazing for sightseeing, shopping, cultural events, etc. The restaurant, Andaluca, is unparalleled and worth every penny. Wi-fi is spotty, at best, so I wouldn't necessarily recommend for a business traveler for that reason. Parking downtown is expensive everywhere, so it's nice to just be able to use public transit. Shady characters congregate downtown late at night, so it's important to be aware that you're in downtown Seattle. The Mayflower has implemented measures to keep the riff-raff out with public restroom codes and room key card-scanners required to operate elevators. We won't stay anywhere else in Seattle. Love it!

Great locationPosted May 12, 2015
Hotel was in a great location for Pikes Place Market, restaurants, underground bus service and monorail. Our room was nice, but a little small. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was fantastic! We would recommend this hotel.

Comfortable hotel, well locatedPosted May 11, 2015
Pros: Location, ambience, courtesy of the staff (front desk, valet parking, luggage)
Cons: Better provision for personal articles in the bathroom, more consistent attention to detail in room cleaning
Location: Ideal for the market, dining, sightseeing
We have stayed at the Mayflower Park before. It is very well located and has a nice old-fashioned ambiance. The rooms are small and the bathrooms don't leave much room for kits, etc. There is only valet parking which is expensive. We were disappointed that the room cleaning staff forgot to replace wine glasses one morning but found the staff to be courteous and responsive most of the time.

I got a great Expedia rate. Enjoyed cocktail hour and hors d oeuvres at their cute bar. Andalusia breakfast was great! Most important it's the most friendly hotel staff I have enjoyed I last 50 hotel bookings. Actually met the owner who takes a personal interest.

Wonderful old-style hotel in SeattlePosted May 5, 2015
Pros: The old style ambiance
Cons: The size of the bathrooms is small but has to be expected in a hotel like that.
Location: Nordstrom and Macy's department stores plus a lot of other stores are close by. Pike Market is only a 10 minute walk away.
We arrived quite late at the hotel but the front desk staff was very accomodating. Found out that the bar was still open, actually until 2 a.m., and we thus could enjoy a drink after a long flight from Hawaii to SEattle before checking in for the night. Everybody was very nice and helpful! If we would have to choose a hotel in Seattle, I would easily pick it again, especially since it's also only a 10 minute walk from Pike Market and very close to a lot of shopping.
