Nice hotel, downtown Seattle.Posted Apr 17, 2015
Pros: The location.
Cons: The parking arrangements.
Location: The hotel is across the street from Macy's & about two blocks from Nordstrom's, with several really good restaurants and drinking establishment nearby
Other than the fact you must use Valet parking, the location of the Mayflower hotel is great. It is centrally located at Westlake center, ideal for shoppers. Close to Pike Street Market, the monorail, the underground bus, the art museum, the theater, good restaurants, everything really. We walked to most of the locations we were interested in visiting. Had a great dinner at a restaurant right off Pike Market. The weather cooperated so it was a nice day to wonder around downtown Seattle. The hotel is a bit older but the room was large and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. I'd stay at this hotel again.

Fantastic Hotel Nearby EverythingPosted Apr 17, 2015
Pros: Distance to everything in Seattle, service, cleanliness, and the bar.
Cons: The walls seem pretty thin, you can occasionally hear conversations going on in other rooms.
Location: Pikes Place is a few blocks, the monorail to the Space Needle is on the same block, the train station through Seattle is one block away.
This hotel is within walking distance of nearly everything in downtown Seattle. There is a drug store in the case of any forgotten toiletries one block down, with a Bank of America across the street from it. Pikes Place market is a mere 8 minute stroll, the monorail taking you to the Space Needle is on the other side of the block, and the train station to the airport is a block away. This does not include the various restaurants nearby that offer fantastic food. Hotel service was amazing. We were truly treated as guests. The room was clean, the lobby was clean, the front doors of the hotel were opened for us on every arrival, and the concierge had never-ending recommendations for places for us to tour. Lastly, my favorite part about this hotel is the bar downstairs near the lobby. A tip: Go at night, when the bar counter is lit almost exclusively by the street lamps outside through its tall windows. It's a truly unique experience, and the bartender we had was quite skilled.

Best Hotel stay in quite some time.Posted Apr 14, 2015
Cons: I'd have to think something up and that wouldn't be fair.. if I had to spend a lot of time to think of something WRONG.
Location: Perfect location from which to shop, eat, visit tourisity places, theater, movies, shop, eat, drink, workout, people watch, did I mention Starbucks...
The Mayflower Park Hotel is like staying at your wealthy Grandparents old favorite hotel and having them call ahead to say... " You WILL take care of my Grandchildren during their stay there." It's not new, but it's got everything you'll need punctuated with more grace and style of old real hospitality that you will find anywhere else. Perfect location in downtown Seattle for .... anything, it affords you the opportunity to park that car and leave it be for an entire stay. The doormen are of the highest caliber, kind, caring and genuine. The desk staff, Robert, makes you feel like you ARE the hotel's favorite guest and whatever you need, the whole staff is going to make sure you get it because Uncle Robert also has got your back. Is it possible that I might someday get to live in that wonderful little12th floor suite? Dream do come true

Perfect location!Posted Apr 11, 2015
Spent a lovely four days, three nights at this historic hotel. Friendly staff, excellent location--a few blocks to the market, near monorail to get to the Space Needle and link light rail for getting to/from airport, Will definitely stay here again!

Great downtown stay, good value.Posted Apr 9, 2015
We stayed mid-week after a Mariner's game. The hotel was a great value for downtown. It was an easy light rail ride to the game, and a quick cab ride back to the hotel afterwards. The room was spacious, and having 2 bathrooms was convenient. The concierge was quite helpful with our trip to the Science Center the next day. The only drawback was the expense of the food at the hotel. It would have been nice to have a less expensive, grab and go option.
