Casual, Comfortable and Clean
Posted Jan 18, 2013
Pros: (See above)
Cons: Very slow elevators. Awkward garage entrance--install green light on wall near keypad or near gated entrance to indicate an open garage entrance.
The features above best describe the critical factors we look for in lodging...and The Mediterranean had all three. We especially appreciated the proximity to the Space Needle where we celebrated our #48 wedding anniversary. Other outstanding features included the large (king bed) room, handy kitchenette, highly secure parking, a Starbucks on the first floor, a Safeway across the street and a scenic view of the Seattle skyline from the rooftop patio.

Great view of Seattle and Space Needle
Posted Jan 17, 2013
Pros: Roof top observation area
Location: Near Key Arena and Space Needle park
Great region for local food and experience. Close to Key Arena and Space Needle. About $10 cab fare to downtown, convention center or $2.50 bus fare. Very accommodating place that helps reduce daily costs of hotel rooms in Seattle.

Cons: Line at the Starbucks was long. Too bad the hotel doesn't have direct email ordering to place an order ahead of time with Starbucks!
Close to the City Center Glad to have the water in the refrig and cold daily

Very nice downtown/uptown hotel
Posted Jan 17, 2013
Pros: location, rooftop terrace
Cons: slow elevator, parking garage tight for non-compact car
Location: complicated for street parking, but that's to be expected in downtown/uptown location
Not a five start, but a nice four star. It's a nice hotel in this urban location. Staff was friendly and room was very clean. Nice to have fridge and microwave in the room. We would definitely go back.

Great location
Posted Jan 17, 2013
Pros: Location and price.
Cons: The rooms could use a little updating... the lighting in both the room and bathroom were very dim.
Location: The location is wonderful... just a couple of blocks from the Space Needle where there is lots to do and you can catch the monorail downtown.
This was my second trip to Seattle and I will definitely stay at the Mediterranean again. I arrived after hours and they were expecting me. The location is great and the rooms affordable.

Comfortable
Posted Jan 14, 2013
Pros: Front desk staff
Cons: Squeaky bathroom door
Location: Close to attractions
While the hotel is an older one it is quite comfortable & clean. Front desk staff were very helpful & friendly. Our only complaint was the bathroom door squeaked badly & we did ask for it to be fixed, it didn't get done. It was a shame the hotel didn't have a café to at least serve breakfast but there is a café half a block away & the food is very good. It was a short walk to the Space Needle & Chihuly Gardens, both worth seeing.

Nice hotel close to space needle and pike place.
Posted Jan 12, 2013
Pros: Close to the places we wanted to visit.
Location: Close to everything. Space needle, pike place market ect...
Nice hotel. Bed was small but we failed to notice it was a full instead of a queen or king. overall we enjoyed our stay. Small bed for $180 per night.
