Nice Hotel

Posted Aug 25, 2014
The hotel itself is nice, the view from the rooftop is amazing. I wouldn't recommend this for a hot summer day as to the room we stayed in didn't have air conditioning. The hotel staff is great and moved us to another room with more of a breeze, but still a little uncomfortable.

Great find!

Pros: Everything! Rooftop 5 Star. Room coffee best I've had in while. Nice meeting rooms with IT.
Cons: Nothing!
Location: Queen Anne reminds me of 70's Bay Area.
Wonderful stay! Rooftop nothing but *****! Only minor, very minor, issue was; metal to metal sound from alley below my room. May have been construction? Very minor issue.

Central locale for our visit to Seattle

Posted Aug 21, 2014
This is a terrific place to stay if you want to tour Seattle. The Space Needle, Monorail, and other Seattle Center attractions are just a couple of blocks away and it is easy to catch a bus or walk to the waterfront. The hotel staff is friendly and very helpful and our accommodations were clean, spacious, and well appointed. There is no air conditioning, but we didn't need it ...even in mid- August. We loved being able to open the windows and enjoy the nice breezes. There is a great terrace on the rooftop with wonderful views of Puget Sound and the city skyline. We enjoyed breakfast at Starbucks which is right off of the lobby and found several interesting places to dine in the neighborhood.

Fabulous location

Posted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: The hotel is located near the space needle, fine dining, and transit to Safeco Field. It was clean with a nice decor and friendly helpful staff.
We went down to a Blue Jay's game at Safeco but wanted to stay near the Space needle. It was a short walk to all we wanted to see. Staff were really helpful in giving directions. The room was nice and large compared to more expensive hotels. We felt we would have felt comfortable in a longer term stay. Kitchenette was includced.

Great location and comfy bed

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: See above
Cons: No air conditioning so it got a bit warm in the room and because the window had to be open it was noisy and bright in the room when we wanted to sleep
Location: see above; also highly recomend teatro zinzanni
We had a great stay here. It is convenient in location. Easy access to buses to downtown or a nice walk in good weather. Bed was really comfortable. Car service to SEATAC $40. Close to supermarket and awesome restaurants including Toulouse Petit. Also very close to Needle. Nice rooftop view. Also, nice sitting area by window inour room.

Really nice place to stay!

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Really liked the cleanliness of the room and the wonderful helpfulness and courtesy of the hotel employees!
Location: The location was excellent! We were able to walk to various sightseeing locations and there was a Dicks hamburger place right across the street.
We stayed one night at the Mediterranean Inn before a cruise to Alaska. Definitely feel as though we chose the perfect place for us. There was no air conditioning in our room, which surprised us; but an overhead fan as well as a floor pole fan was on when we arrived and it turned out, that was all that was needed. It was a very pleasant room temperature and we slept very well!

Everything was Great there!! The only thing didn't like was, NO AC in the room, and a lot of noise at night! ( because you have to sleep with the windows open)!

Disappointing, especially at this price

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Great location (neighborhood had lots of good restaurants and was 3 blocks from the Space Needle and monorail to Pike Place Market area).
Cons: Get air conditioning and internet service. A business traveler would be really out of luck here.
Location: Space Needle, botanic gardens, Chihuly exhibit, tons of museums and cultural attractions, Seattle Storm arena, monorail to Pike Place market.
We had the misfortune to arrive in the one warm week they claim they get per year. No air conditioning, and the second fan (in addition to ceiling fans) they said should be in the closet wasn't there. To compensate, they offered free internet (yes, you have to pay for that too, as well as parking). Unfortunately, they couldn't actually get the internet to work (and we tried on one ipad, two Kindles, and three iphones, with the help of Emily, their helpful technology person). The room was clean and would have been comfortable if not for the heat, but as it was we were fairly miserable.
