New decor; STILL a Red Lion at heart...

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: Location is great!
Cons: Housekeeping. Pillows/linens smell (not sure the changed/laudered them); mildew on shower curtain. Same in other room during May 2014 stay.
Destination Resorts price, Red Lion experience. Beds not so "heavenly". Trying somewhere else next time.

Great location and unique esthetic!

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Cons: We called housekeeping and the front desk looking for coffee, and no one answered.
This is a great hotel right downtown, just a few blocks from the Light Rail system, Pike Place Market, the MonoRail and more. We really enjoyed being able to see the sites of Seattle on foot, and this hotel helped make it easy. The staff was more than accommodating and the hotel is a lovely modern and unique space. When we return to Seattle, this will be our first choice to stay again.

Great Downtown location.

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Need to stock refrigerator with pay for drinks (alcohol or soda) usage and snacks. Cannot drink in room after 2:00am if bars are closed.
Location: Shopping and Pike's Place market.
Great location and good hotel. Near good food location and monorail.

A pleasant and friendly place to stay

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: Really friendly and courteous staff
Cons: Parking lot
Location: Location was excellent, a short walk to Pikes Place market and really in the center of things
Everything was really good, except the parking lot smelled of stale urine. I mentioned it to the staff and they seemed to be aware that this was a problem. Seems that there some local hobos who use the parking lot as a toilet. An almost universal problem in any city unfortunately.

Walking distance to everything

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: Everything, the design, the location, the comfort.
Location: Everything is literally a five minute walk away. The space needle, waterfront, market, football stadium and all cool pubs, coffee shops are close
This was a beautiful hotel. Rooms are really chic and modern yet very comfortable. The washroom is amazing. The hotel is so close to everything. It was perfect.

Love that hotel is in walking distance to pretty much everything. Staff was super friendly. Frolik, the hip hotel bar, is delicious and reasonably priced. Overall would definitely stay here again.

Motif Seattle

Posted Sep 25, 2014
Pros: Large room; always had cold lemon water in the lobby when we arrived back from our sightseeing each afternoon; had enough elevators; very clean
Cons: Could use more towel bars in the bathroom and more mirrors in the room to facilitate four people getting dressed at the same time.
Location: Many modes of ground transportation close; Duck tours close; short walk to Pike Place Market and the waterfront; Palomino Restaurant across street
The staff was the best of any hotel I've stayed in. There were four of us and we stayed seven nights.

Great Location in Downtown Seattle

Posted Sep 24, 2014
Pros: Nice friendly staff, accommodating and offers help when asked, or if they think you might need something.
Cons: Prices are high, but it is downtown Seattle.
Location: Excellent Location.
Excellent check-in services, quiet room, clean, very comfortable. Liked having the coffee maker and refrigerator. Was so convenient - short walk to Pike Market, restaurants, Sea/Tac light rail, monorail to Seattle Center, and excellent location if wanting to shop or have a central location. Staying in Seattle is pricey, and parking is expensive, but if you have to, then the Motif is very nice.
