Fantastic Hotel in Great Location

Posted Oct 19, 2014
The hotel and amenities were fantastic. The only thing I would change is the heat/cool. Our room was very warm with no way to cool it.

Nice hotel

Posted Oct 19, 2014
Pros: That its so close to shopping, transit and the Market.
Cons: I wish that when you are staying at the hotel the parking costs are not so high, should be a break If you are staying at the hotel.
Location: Right in the heart of the city. Shopping and the Farmers market are a block away.
Love that it has easy access from/ to the freeway .

Downtown base

Posted Oct 17, 2014
Pros: Location; amount of room for the money.
Cons: Hallways?
Location: Everything fun about downtown Seattle is within walking distance.
Rooms & lobby are very nicely re-done. But the hallways still look pretty tattered.

Had a few hiccups with infrastructure this trip, but staff took care of everything and was very pleasant. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Great location and upper floors have beautiful views!!

Great hotel that is ideally situated in downtown.

Our stay at the Motif could not have been better. The room was clean and well maintained. For those of you who like to workout they have a great gym with lots of new gym equipment. We didn't eat at the hotel's restaurant but it looked upscale and I would try it when we go back. The staff was friendly and answered all of our questions with a smile. You simply cannot beat the hotels location which is within walking distance to all the major sites in Seattle.

Great Hotel Close to Pikes Market

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: The temperature control. Our room was very warm and took nearly a day to cool down but then was too cool. Not a huge deal, it didn't ruin our stay.
Location: It was perfect for us, we never rented a car and walked everywhere, shopping, market, ferry, restaurants, entertainment etc.
It was wonderful, we love Seattle and try to go as much as we can.

Perfectly Central Downtown Seattle hotel

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: Central
Cons: Cheaper parking & extend end of day past 4pm Fix water hammering in pipes
Close to everything. Sports stadiums, Pike's Market and Belltown. Perfect place to stay to have easy access to everything. Newly reno-ed so very clean and very modern. Best thing about this place is the staff. Engaged, friendly and doing what they can for you to enjoy your stay.Only downside is expensive parking (including charging $6.00 extra for one hour past 4pm out time (really, already paid $64 for 2 days, don't nickel and dime) and loud banging water pipes that woke us up way to early on a Sunday (your reno plumber should have really installed water anti-knock valves). Will stay here again, the pros await the cons.

The decor is horrid. A design nightmare come true.

Posted Oct 14, 2014
We have always loved this hotel. However, the decor has changed and is beyond horrible. It is as if you took a design 101 class and broke every possible hint of taste rule-like a purposeful offense. I'm sorry, but putting taupe/browny-grey-green background wallpaper and adding a black &white print with a teal/turquoise one and a shocking pink lamp,oh, and don't forget the yellow/gold mixed print with yellow(not blue based) greens, well then, you have this color nightmare. Someone who now owns this place has a trophy wife who wants to be a designer and who wants to push the"design envelope", but honey, there is a reason people's eyes bleed when colors collide in such an incredible mess. As much as we love the staff, service and location, we won't be coming back here. Every shade of every color does NOT go together. I know this seems petty, but truly, it was an assault and very difficult to be in the room for the three nights we were there. Hotel Warwick, wish we never left you; you will be our home when we come back to Seattle.
