G8 hotel! You won't be disappointed.

Posted Jan 28, 2015
You will enjoy appreciate the luxury of tis hotel - big room and toilet with vanity, bath and toilet. Nice cosy lobby lounge with the warmth of a nice fire place. Location is a little way off but if you appreciate a good walk, key locations are within walking distance. Great choice of eating areas in the vicinity.

Great Hotel! Great People!

Posted Jan 26, 2015
This Hotel is am absolute Gem in the South Lake Union District. The people are outstanding, the property impeccably maintained, the room and amenities are excellent! They provide free transportation around Downtown. This is one of the all around nicest hotel I have stayed in in the downtown area.

An "all in one" experience

Posted Jan 21, 2015
Pros: The location was great and we had everything we needed within walking distance.
Cons: The mattress was extremely firm, which the staff attributed to them being brand new. At check-out they said they have pillow mattress tops available.
Location: Restaurants, pubs are all close by. Any sightseeing is a good walk in the rain, but there is a complimentary shuttle service to and from downtown.
Attached Starbucks, Whole Foods Market downstairs, a 24 hour access gym, complimentary shuttle within downtown.... all these extras made this a wonderful stay. Everything was close by. Staff was nice, check-in was hassle free. Except for occasional city noise associated with a downtown hotel, everything about this hotel was great.

Very nice hotel overall!

Posted Jan 12, 2015
Pros: The look, the location, the environment, the staff, the hotel car. Very Top Notch!
Cons: The smell of the room was a little funky at first, but we did get used to it. The Space Needle corner king room was a bit small for the price.
Location: There are museums, boutique stores, restaurants, bars, etc. Public transportation was super easy and convenient
Walking distance to many many points of interest. The "hotel car" was nice and convenient to get around quick. I got in at noon and knew that the room would not be ready yet so I hung out downstairs at the Whole Foods. Before I knew it, the staff had a room for me (way earlier than 4), which was super nice of them. They also held my bags and offered to drive us around.

Somewhat dissappointing

Posted Jan 8, 2015
Pros: Very friendly staff.
Cons: The hotel room ambiance lacked romantic feel and conveniences of overnight parking without the added cost. Updated bathroom amenities too.
Location: The market down below the hotel was nice and great for purchase of wines and conveniences. There were nearby shops and Starbucks next door.
My husband and I were celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary away for the very first time in a long time to also get away from the kids and hoping to find the ideal luxury get away with budget in mind after the holidays. Our Anniversary is December 29th, so it gets normally eaten up by the cost of Christmas on family and we never have anything left to spend on ourselves. The cost of the hotel was perfect for a luxury get away that seemed according to the ratings to have all we were looking for. At least that is what we thought. EXCEPT there was no mention of the overnight parking cost of 40.00 in addition to the cost of the hotel to their patrons, and then there is the tip for the valet that in my book should always be paid even if the valet is considered to be "free". As for a nice place to eat, well most luxury hotels have that available to their patrons, but there was only a small lounge. There was a market down below the hotel that was separate from the hotel, but nothing nice for breakfast nearby. Also we had them book us dinner at "The Pink Door" but they failed to let us know that the cabaret performance they booked us for had its last curtain call before the time they booked us for. Expect to really pay an amount of $225 bare minimum a night like we did for an advertised price of $158.00 Premium King Size suite because of the parking they charge their guests for their "free: valet. Best to go to The Marriot or Red Lion!

Thank you for telling us about your stay at Pan Pacific Seattle. We are so sorry to hear that you were disappointed by the experience. We certainly do not intend to hide fees in addition to the published rates and therefore our Expedia profile does note a surcharge for valet parking. We strive to keep our parking rates in line with other luxury hotels in the downtown area and currently fall near the average. Regarding dining options, we recently ended a partnership with Seastar Restaurant and Raw Bar and are working on an exciting new dining concept that will launch in late spring of this year. In the interim we are providing all meal service out of the recently renovated Lobby Bar lounge, with the intent of continuing to offer the impeccable service expected by our guests. Lastly, we are sincerely apologetic for any confusion over your dining reservations and the fact that you were unable to experience the cabaret show at The Pink Door. We understand your desire for a post-holiday anniversary celebration and would be humbled by a second change to impress you on your next getaway. Warm Regards, Ryan Crosby Community Relations Manager

We were staying with my husband. We were planning to stay for two nights, but because of the service and comfort level we decided to leave earlier. Our room was small and in the morning we both had a back pain, because the beds were not soft enough. The hotel did not want to return the difference in amount, and we call Expedia to help us to resolve the issue.

We stay here every trip to Seattle because it is close to our dad's nursing facility in downtown. Very nice rooms, friendly staff, and close to everything. Even has a Starbucks attached to the hotel.

Pros: Great view of the space needle. Courtesy shuttle around town was very helpful!
Cons: Overnight parking is too expensive.
Location: Everything is close by and with their courtesy shuttle, it made it even easier to get to all attractions.
A very nice hotel! Close to all the action and great staff!!
