Classy hotel with lots of attentive staff

Posted Nov 22, 2014
Pros: Great view of the Space Needle in corner rooms, friendly staff, attractive public & private spaces.
Cons: The corner rooms are advertised as over 400 sf but in reality are about the same size as average hotel room due to large hallway in the room.
Location: Hotel is a bit off the beaten path-- above a large & busy Whole Foods which was great for quick lunches. Easy walking distance to usual tourist sites
Great stay in a lovely hotel within easy walking distance of lots of sites. Breakfasts in the bar were excellent, as was room service. Uber & taxis readily available. Romantic view of the Space Needle from corner room. We were impressed.

Great place to stay downtown

Posted Nov 17, 2014
Great location, very convenient & complimentary shuttle was a big plus. Staff were very friendly & accommodating of our needs. I was temporarily on crutches & the room was easy to navigate. Good restaurants nearby, we ate at Portage Bay Cafe & Cactus. Would definitely return.

Staff need improvement!!

Posted Nov 11, 2014
Staff starting with valet/doormen, front desk and finally lounge staff; lacked in friendliness, knowledge, professionalism. The only staff that I felt was all of the above was a young bartender in the lounge!... Named "Joe"... The rest should all learn from that young guy!... Very disappointed in the staff and service!

Nice Soaking Tub and Shower

Posted Nov 8, 2014
Pros: The bathroom, soaking tub, shower, and robes were great.
Cons: The bed could be more comfortable and the staff could be more friendly.
Location: You can rent city bikes, drink at a variety of great bars, eat delicious Korean food, and visit the market.
The hotel was very easy to find, and we parked in the garage beneath the hotel and Whole Foods. I didn't realize that the valet parking is actually cheaper than the self-park, so we had the valet repark our care. I didn't feel very welcome at the hotel even though the staff were courteous and professional. The bed and pillows were a bit hard. The soaking tub was amazing and the room and hotel on the whole were very clean. The location was not as ideal as other choices for where we spent our evening. I would have liked to be closer to pikes place or Westlake, though it wasn't a long walk by any means.

Seahawks Weekend

Posted Nov 4, 2014
We spent 2 nights at this excellent hotel. Although not right in the downtown core everything is a short walk away. Wholefoods is on the property and lobby lounge/bar is excellent for the pre or post dinner drink.

Pros: It felt warm and cozy. Staff was incredibly friendly and accomodating.
Cons: The way to turn the shower on, and the direction the shower door opens, was a little inconvenient.
Location: There is a lot of construction around. The location is great, great little courtyard, and Whole Foods just downstairs.
It was a short visit, but satisfying in every way. Having around the clock room service was appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your stay. We are very sad to learn that your room was not serviced adequately prior to your arrival. We would never intentionally allow a guest to check-in to a room in this condition and are sincerely apologetic for the oversight and break down in service standards. We would be humbled by an opportunity to improve upon your initial experience should you choose to give us a second chance on your next visit to the area. Nice hotel on the edge of downtown

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Really nice hotel, liked the modern decor and it was clean. Had a really nice cocktail bar attached and being above a Whole Foods was great! We had breakfast there two mornings which was very convenient and inexpensive. Although the hotel was not in the heart of downtown it really wasn't that far to walk anywhere and we walked to the football game, to the Space Needle and to Pikes Market. When heading out of Whole Foods walk down to the right and you will find a few more nice restaurants too. I wish the hotel was a little more informative as to what to do and where to go to eat but we figured it out cuz it was all really close. We would stay there again because it was a little calmer being out a little farther from the main downtown.
