Although the hotel is on the older side, it was clean and the staff was excellent.

Decay next to the freeway

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: cost, location, price
Cons: some things are old and need to be upgraded .
Location: Next to the 405 freeway, close to the Sheraton and Hilton. You can walk to Safeway and Rite-Aid, but it is 15-20 min walk.
The Red Lion Bellevue is a decent offering for the price, but it is not great. First there is the freeway noise from the 405. It is loud, even at night. Then there is the in room heater by the window from 1968. It is loud and it turns on and off all night as the temperature fluctuates, waking you up each time. Finally the carpeting in the common areas of the hotel has been in need of replacement for 20+ years.

Run down

Posted Feb 6, 2015
Disappointing rundown hotel. I'm a frequent traveler and was very disappointed in the overall appearance. The facilities looked as though they were still stuck in the 1960s

comfy beds

Posted Feb 2, 2015
Pros: comfort, and a fairly priced restaurant with ok food.
Location: shopping is the best in Bellevue.
when in the Bellevue Washington area we always stay there. A good night sleep is what I require most... and the beds have always been comfy.

It's a nice mid-range hotel.

Pros: The staff.
Cons: I think the bath tub could be a little updated.
Location: It's right in downtown Bellevue so it's walkable to nearby businesses.
The staff was very nice and helpful, probably best part of the stay.

Nice place with one exception

Only issue to be aware of is that breakfast is a PAID event, unlike the free breakfast so many competing excellent motels now provide. However, food is good and price is not commercially unreasonable. Very well located relative to City Hall.

Business trip to Bellevue

Posted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: Good value for money
Location: 10-15 minutes walk to main centre of Bellevue
Red Lion is very competitively priced for what it offers. Bedrooms are large and well furnished and room was spotlessly clean. Staff very helpful.

Gret Hotel

Posted Jan 17, 2015
Pros: The hotel is in a great location that got us to our appointment quickly.
Cons: Nothing improvrf, just add an omrlet bar to breakfast please.
Location: We did not have time to partake in local activities.
The room was neat and I thought the sliding glass door was a nice touch. The sliding glass door made for easy entry on our late arrival as I walk on crutches and use a chair. We did not have time in our rushed medical trip to use the amenities except for the breakfast. The breakfast buffet, by far, is the best I've had at a hotel in recent months. The breakfast potatoes were awesome and the muffins melted in our mouths.
