Save a little money

Posted Nov 15, 2014
Pros: Quiet for the most part. the train noise is infrequent and minimal. It is near a walking and bike trail.
Good breakfast, work out room and pool. It is off the beaten track so there can be a slower pace to starting your day.

A PLEASANT STAY !

Posted Nov 9, 2014
Pros: The Friendliness of the staff.
Cons: Perhaps have a restaurant attached.
Location: There were plenty of Eating places in Kent village there was also a cinema and a small selection of shops.
The Hotel was located just a little outside Seattle and cost around $32.00 for a Taxi. The Kent area has a train station which stops at the Stadium areas just at the foot of Downtown Seattle. The Hotel had a pool and gave you a complimentary Breakfast. There was a Gym and a Sauna and the staff were very attentive and helpful. There were two computers to use but the restaurants were about a 20 minute walk away located near to the station. The rooms were cozy and clean and all in all a good stay.

Good location but disappointed

Posted Nov 6, 2014
Pros: Great location, close to freeways and pleasant walking path
Cons: Overall quality of lodging; clean pool & hotter water in "hot tub"; replenish food in breakfast bar when it is eaten
Location: Walking path, shopping nearby, coffee shops & restaurants
The "King Executive Suite" was disappointing... Ankle deep water at the end of every shower, no hooks in the bathroom, cheap plastic cups, dinky pillows... Expected more. Worst of all, we stayed at this hotel so the family would have a pool. The pool was not maintained and had debris floating in it. The hot tub was cool or not working properly. Two days later, none of these problems were fixed. When food at the breakfast bar ran out, it was not replenished and one coffee pot was cold. Overall, the hotel seemed clean but operated at a bare-bones minimum. Quality did not match price paid. I would not return to this hotel nor would I recommend it to others.

Lovin' It In Kent -

Posted Nov 5, 2014
Pros: The staff always wanted to make sure everything was OK -
Cons: We could hear the train go by a couple of times during the day, but it wasn't too loud -
Location: Kent is in the middle of all things Seattle, so nothing was ever too far away -
We wanted a hotel in the center of things in Seattle and loved the location, as well as the room, plush mattress, pool and breakfasts...mmm...

Great if you like trains.

Posted Oct 24, 2014
Pros: They gave two complimentary drink tickets on check-in.
Cons: The jets in the jaccuzzi seemed pretty wek.
I only realized how close this hotel is to the railroad when I tried to go to sleep. The trains are quite loud and they do use their horns. The windows/walls are pretty thin too. Parking spaces leave almost no space between cars pulling in and the first floor rooms.
