Extended stay

Pros: The room was very comfortable and fit our needs.
Cons: There was no restaurant within walking distance although the hotel did serve a nice breakfast.
A very clean and quiet hotel. We stayed for 4 nights while visiting Family in the area.

Pros: Location
Cons: Updated a bit.
Location: It is located in Kent, WA Not much to do around there, however we were there to see our grandson and not sight see.
My husband and I went to Kent to visit our grandson. The Red Lion is literally right around the corner from their home. It was a nice hotel. Yes it is a little older and convenience isn't the best such as vending and ice machines are only on 1st floor (we were on the 3rd floor). Complimentary breakfast was nice. (They do need to keep up better on filling coffee and juice containers) but food was good. Staff was great and very friendly. We would stay there again.

They give you 2 free cocktails when you arrive, the beds are comfy, the staff is friendly however the night front desk girl bathed in perfume. The breakfast is delicious and good veriety.

Great location, great price

This hotel is very close to Kent Station, perfect for catching public transportation downtown. But it's also only a 15 to 20 minute drive to downtown Seattle. My kids loved the pool and hot tub. The breakfast was great--scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, toast, bagels, pastries, doughnuts, cold cereal, juice, coffee, tea. Dogs are allowed and there is a walking trail right next to the hotel. Great place!

Nice but loud train

This is a nice affordable hotel only 6 miles from the airport, next to gas station, and grocery stores. There is a frig and microwave in the room. There is an OK breakfast. if you are a light sleeper, I would not recommend this hotel. It is next to a train that passes by at all hours with its horn honking extremely loud. I could even feel the bed moving from vibrations.

Cons: I can't think of anything.
Location: I was there for a conference.
This Hotel was very nice and inexpensive. The one thing that really caught my attention was how it smelled. The whole place smelled very good. Staff was nice. Good breakfast and an exercise room. I would definitely stay again.

Didn't get breakfast

We checked in on a Sunday evening for 2 nights. We were told that breakfast eould be until 10am every morning. First day was OK (got there around 9am), but the next day we were told at 9:39am that the breakfast was over. Really? Finally we got the information that they have it until 9:30am on weekdays, and 10:00am on weekends. Do you think we got at least a couple of yogurts and apples after this miscommunication? Nope! I understand that we were 9 minutes late, but staff made a mistake, not us. So I understand that after close date they couldn't provide us the hot breakfast, but I couldn't believe that they had nothing available. Or at least offer us a discount, etc. We are really disappointed!
