Fairly nice hotel.

Requested a king bed with purchase, didn't get it. Of course. Parking was horrible, valet is best. Bar needed more help but staff was great. Manager clearly messed up that. Overall, I prob would go again.

Poor service

The staff was not friendly. They did not tell us check in time, anything about parking and simply sucked. Very expensive hotel, extremely busy and overall crap

Nice place. . .

The room was comfortable and clean, with a nice eastern view. The refrigerator was not functioning. The room contained no hotel guide, so we remained ignorant of whatever amenities were available. If they had a breakfast, it was a well-kept secret. Arriving by car will add at least $40 a night to your cost, but that's typical of downtown Seattle hotels. It's in a good location for downtown activities, though a bit of a walk to the Market and the SAM.

Great location. Downtown, freeway close.

Went to Seattle for a friends wedding. I needed a place to stay that was downtown but reasonably priced. The Renisance was the place. Very clean and quiet. My room had a beautiful view of downtown and the ocean. On my last day I ate breakfast at Maxwells restaurant in the hotel, it was very good. Next time I go to Seattle I will be staying at the Renisance.

Excellent location, within a mile of everything we

Pros: Everything
Cons: Toilet had issues - had to be addressed two time in our 4 night stay. Bareley flushed (it was that way when we arrived)
3 days, 4 nights in Seattle. Went to the Space Needle, Pikes Market, Chiluly Gardens, Segway tour, Spooked in Seattle and shopped. Ate at a variety of restaurants, walked around to the city exploring. Walked over 15 miles. Excellent location and very walkable city.

Central location, very convenient.

The hotel has limited space, therefore during convention season rooms may be at a premium and scarce. The loading area is very small and unless you are using cabs, pickups are a bit cumbersome. The facility is great, the rooms are quite nice, and the food was quite good if a little expensive.

Pros: Beds were very comfortable, restaurant was great and room service was fast. Nice comfortable bar for evening nightcap,
Location: Walk to Space needle, Pike Street, Downtown underground and lots of shopping.
Had a great time! Hotel location was great! First time in Seattle and was able to walk to most activities. We would take this trip again. We were there for 3 full days and still did not see everything.

The hotel was fine - good location & fairly comfortable. The staff left a lot to be desired. I made a reservation for 4 people in a deluxe room, with 2 double beds. We got there early & checked our bags before heading out to sightsee. At that time I requested a roll away. When we returned that evening found they had put all 4 of us in a room with one king sized bed! I reminded them the reservation was for 4 people and was informed that a roll away won't fit in a room with 2 beds.... Seems like the clerk should have told me that when I requested the roll away, since the reservation clearly showed the room was for 4. It took about 15 minutes to dig up another room for us. It took another 10 minutes for them to tell us they couldn't find our bags and bring us back to the storage area to find them ourselves. All in all was deeply unimpressed with the level of service.

Nice hotel, close to many attractions

We enjoyed our stay at the Renaissance. This was our second visit and we will be back. My only suggestion would be to make the check-in process faster or increase the staff at the front desk. Both visits required waiting in line for longer than expected.
