“Truly romantic getaway”
We celebrated our 10th anniversary and loved this hotel. It was expensive, but worth it. The hotel was clean, comfortable and one of the better hotels we have stayed at. We had a river view room, which gave us a porch and view of the river and the top of the waterfall. We also had a view of the power plant on the river, which grew on us as part of the historic significance of the river. We noticed that there were several rooms with no view at all. I am not sure I would have wanted to stay in one of those rooms. The lodge is located right next to the park, which was a great hike. We hiked all the way down to the bottom of the waterfall and it was an incredible view. The dining at the lodge was very good. Yes, it is expensive, but we enjoyed the meals. The spa is beautiful and relaxing and the massages were great.
“Great place to get away!!”
The service at Salish lodge was wonderful. Our room was very clean and welcoming...perfect for a romantic vacation! Once you talk yourself into spending the money you'll enjoy it to the fullest.
“So close to perfect...”
Everything was great about the Salish. We were there on our honeymoon and the entire staff made sure that we felt welcome and comfortable. I have one complaint, we bought our flight car and hotel on expedia as a package, which put us at the hotel at 11 am and there was no room ready for us. After traveling all morning from dallas and getting married the night before the last thing we wanted to do was keep ourselves busy for three hours while we waited for a room to be ready. The room they gave us was ready 1.5 hrs before check in and the staff was wonderful about it, I would just make sure that if buying a package you are arriving later in the day. The only reason I even mention it is because our Salish experience was so close to perfect that the one detail that wasn't stuck out. Overall I loved it and would definitely go back and recommend it!!!
“More than I expected”
This review will be short and to the point. I have never in my life been more pleased with a hotel stay. Everyone was so nice. Most impressed with the valet parking guys, they were GREAT. Very helpful with directions and anything that we needed. This place is outstanding and I would give it a 10 star rating if it was available.
“Extremely satisfied”
I had actually bought a one night stay at the Salish Lodge and Spa for a friends parents (His father is not well so i thought it would be a nice gift). They had fought me on going because they did not want me to spend the money on them...but i insisted that i could not cancel it and that it would go to waist, soo they decided to go. I had got a call from them the night they arrived and they had seemed comfortable and pleased. His mom did not really say much though. I had not figured out until the day they got home that they absolutly loved it! She said she had never wanted to come home...and her husband as well. They were pleased with how kind and considirate the staff at the Salish Lodge were, and just the service in general. They loved the food (they even brought 4 of the chocolate cheese cakes home so that everyone could have some), and her husband said the steak practically melted in his mouth. He continuosly thanked me, and even in his condition, he kept reassuring his wife and myself that they would some day return. She had told me later that she hadn't seen him so relaxed in months, and in that matter happy. He had told me that it was the best time he has had in 10 years. I was just so glad that I give them a gift that would make their time so great together...words can't even explain my happiness and respect for the Salish Lodge. For yourself....or even for someone else, I would not choose any other place to lodge at.
“Fabulous Stay!”
Our stay at the Salish was wonderful. The room were nice and romantic, complete with wood burning fireplace and a jacuzzi tub for two with a view of the crackling logs. We opted for the "cheapest" room and were a hundred percent satisfied. The drive into the city was super easy and not that time consuming. Definitely go the the Dining Room to experience a WONDERFUL meal. My husband and I agree that this was the best food we have ever eaten. Definitely do the tasting menu. If you are worried about the price, get the Farmer's Market version (no meat), it is delish and half the price. Next time we are in Seattle we plan to go back! I HIGHLY recommend this lodge!
“Very Elegant”
The whole atmosphere of the lodge is serene and very claming, not to mention the view of the Snoqualmie Falls is spectacular. The real wood burning fireplace is a plus also to have a in your room as well, especially when it's a rainy day out. The rooms are very spacious and you might not wanna leave the room. Overall a very pleasant stay. I will be back again.
“Above and Beyond Expectations”
The staff went above and beyond themselves to ensure that we had a wonderful stay. Everyone was so helpful and accomodating. It was the perfect location for a weekend get-a-way!
“Heavenly Luxury”
The Salish was perfect. I surprised my Wife with the beautiful waterfall, a relaxing couples massage, an evening dinner and a terrific breakfast during our stay. The staff was eager to help at all times and the whole experience really gave me some big time points with the wife( I didn't know I was so thoughtful! )
“Can't wait to go back!”
The Salish Lodge was probably one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. We just got back from staying there for a portion of our honeymoon and we can not stop talking about how cozy and romantic the Salish was. The service was outstanding and their personnel was friendly and really went out of their way to make your stay memorable. The first night we were there we got a knock on our door and a member of their staff handed my husband a card which congratulated us on our marriage and it was hand signed by all the Salish Staff. It was a really nice, personal touch that neither of us had ever received from any other hotels we have stayed at- and we have stayed at some ritzy hotels known for their service. Being about 30 minutes from the city of Seattle, it was nice to have two really nice restaurants on site. The Attic, the more casual of the two restaurants, is a little nook that serves a wide variety of food and has a cozy lounge-like atmosphere. They have a wood-burning fireplace and leather couches and chairs that are perfect for hanging out and having a night cap. The main dining room has offers a gourmet menu and perfect if you are looking for that really nice dinner spot. Even though the main dining room is known for their dinner menu, we would highly recommend going there for breakfast, as they offer an amazing Country Breakfast which is a four or five course meal to die for! We would definitely recommend the Salish to anyone looking to be pampered!
