Stay at Seatac Marriott

Posted Jul 29, 2014
When we arrived, there were lots of cars parked out front but only one, a hummer limousine, had anyone inside. There were 3 hotel staff members standing by the door and no one acknowledged us. The gal at the front desk, I believe her name was Emma was very nice. We got to the room and our bathroom toilet was dirty, someone had gone to the restroom and not flushed. The shower also had hair in it, I was shocked because we had never been in a hotel room where this had happened.

Nice Airport hotel with Great Facilities

Posted Jul 25, 2014
Pros: Gym, heated indoor pool
Cons: Marriott hotels should provide free Wifi like other Marriott properties (Courtyard, Fairfield Inn, etc) and eliminate the airport shuttle charge.
Location: Only a couple of restaurants within walking distance.
Have stayed at this hotel a few times. Their indoor heated pool area is beautiful and wonderful. A nice size gym and sauna. The rooms were clean and nice with modern furnishings including HD flatscreen TV. Food in the hotel is expensive and they charge for Internet access like most Marriott hotels are two of the minuses. It is expensive compared to other hotels in the airport area but worth it for me for the facilities. They have added a $4 charge to take their shuttle to the airport (billed to your room). I think it should still be free considering the room rates at this hotel.

The staff was great, facility was updated but still needed a little work on upkeep in the bathroom.

We got there around 9:00am. The front desk stuff was very friendly and gave us a room right away. It's a big hotel with many rooms. A pool in the middle. Only stayed for one night. It was a very pleasant experience.

This hotel charges $4 to use its airport van.

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: Pleasant check in and nice room with a comfortable bed, typical for Marriott.
Cons: I am not used to paying for the airport van. Also, none of the front door attendants ever said hello.
Location: I took a three-mile walk in a fairly quiet nearby neighborhood. There is a 7-11 right out front, selling stuff that travelers need.
This hotel had the usual high Marriott customer service level, with a pleasant, professional check-in and a nice room with a comfortable bed. I was instantly moved to another room when I complained that my room overlooked the pool, which was noisy. At the same time, I asked for a quiet room and should not have placed in a room overlooking the pool. In any case, once moved, I had a nice room and never heard a sound. Two unusual things about this Marriott: It resembled an Embassy Suites in that it centered around a rather large pool. Also, the charge to use the airport van was $4. It appears that after all the years of hearing airline customers complain about fees for service, Marriott wanted to hear its customers complain about fees for service.

Great Experience

Posted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: The friendliness of the Staff, hands down.
Location: The Airport is only 10 minutes away. You feel safe outside if you want to take a stroll in the fresh air or you can hop on the train to downtown.
We arrived at the Airport Marriott from an Alaskan Cruise at 10:30 AM and they got us into a room right away. (We thought we were going to have to wait until 3:00PM to check-in) What Hotel does that?. The dinner we had was absolutely the best meal I have ever eaten in my life. The Restaurant Staff took us in and made us feel like part of the family. The next time I'm in Seattle, I'm staying here!
