Good location

Posted Feb 27, 2015
Pros: Location and comfortable room.
Cons: Outrageous charges for internet access in rooms. Most end up hauling laptop to lobby for free access when wired and wireless is available in rooms.
Clean and modern hotel in a good downtown location within walking distance of downtown and Pikes Place Market. Westlake transit center a couple of blocks away with light rail, buses, and monorail. Quick trip to Space Needle on Monorail running every 10 minutes. Internet access in rooms should be free. The cost to install it has been invested and the actual cost to provide access to the internet is minimal for a hotel of this size. I have traveled to many foreign countries and they put the USA to shame with free internet access in all hotels, restaurants and public places. The hotel pushes being green and encourages waiving maid service for a $5 coupon for hotel food and beverages. They then do not accept the coupons for food and beverages charged to your room.

Nice place/staff BUT obscenely expensive parking!!

Posted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: The staff.
Cons: The OBSCENE price of parking
$48 per day for valet parking, are you kidding me!!! Even with a handicap sticker due to one of the guests! So if you DO NOT have a car to park then stay here, otherwise you may want to reevaluate your options.

Fabulous Hotel in downtown Seattle

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: Everything
Cons: I can not think of anything that could have made my stay better.
Location: I was located in downtown Seattle. Everything was within walking distance to the hotel. Great restaurants, shopping and attractions.
I am not sure how my stay could have been any better. The staff from the valet's, bellman, front desk attendants were amazing. I have never had such an all around pleasant experience at a hotel. The staff was polite and explained everything to me. I travel a lot for my job. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and colleague's. Thank you for such a great weekend.

weekend getaway

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: Location, size of rooms and indoor pool
Cons: The convenient store being kept open later on weekends, instead of closing early.
Location: Pike's market, observatory, shopping
We arrived on a Friday afternoon. The shuttle services that is recommended by the hotel was a bad experience getting to the hotel from the airport. Even though we were given a specific time for pick up, they did not arrive till an hour later. Upon arriving to the hotel, check in was busy, but prompt. The room was clean and comfortable, with a great view of downtown buildings. We did get to experience the lounge bar downstairs, which on Friday night we sat at the bar and received great services. However, we returned the 2nd night and sat at one of the lounge tables. The waitress was rude and appeared annoyed to be serving us. We had to flag her down to order drinks. When she brought us drinks and food, she did not place it in front of us, she actually placed it away from us, on the other side of the table, where we had to reach over and grab it. Besides, the rude waitress, the experience was good and we would book again. The location is ideal and the price was reasonable.

It was alright

Nice hotel, excellent location. Some stains here and there and some furniture that showed some obvious signs of wear and tear. Housekeeping staff came by but did not clean anything, didn't even empty garbages. It wouldn't really be a big deal, but they left a card under our door saying they had come and clean. Might just be some misunderstanding.
