Worth the money we paid for it.

Pros: The pool was a little cold for my taste but the work out room was great!
Cons: The pool could be a little warmer. The plaque with our room number on it was missing so we had a bit of a struggle in finding the correct room.
Location: This hotel is central to all that we wanted to do
We paid over $700.00 for our two nights stay, but we were greeted by a very friendly counter staff member. The maids were very friendly as were the bell hops.

Southern Hospitality

Landmark hotel. The clerk at checkin upgraded our room from one giant king to two kings, gladly and graciously. The elevators up depend on key cards to operate (added security). The facilities were immaculately clean, even the carpet. Great bed, abundance of pillows. Everything white so no hidden dirt. Excellent location at reasonable prices for location/ metro. There is parking (valet) on sight, and public parking across the street. (We checked the car in early, and left the car there late at no additional charge.) The concierge was helpful, and bi-lingual. The valet parking attendant noticed our license plates as we were leaving and asked us if we knew how to get to the freeway. He gave us short, concise, accurate directions that saved us a great deal of time and frustrations w driving in a city heavy with one way streets and no left turn signs. (Left on Pine, Left on Fifth, Left on Spring: The I Five entrance IS the I90 entrance. The Paramont Theatre (Cats, Chorus Line, Wicked) is three blocks up the street. Chipotle's is three blocks down the street. It is a straight walk down the street to Pike's Market. This is my new go-to hotel. Tip the maids; they do the back breaking work!

We had a wonderful time in Seattle. Seattle Sheraton is a wonderful home away from home. We stayed five nights and had a great experience in your great city. Thank you.

Great location!

Posted Jul 8, 2015
Pros: Location, pool
Location: Within minutes of Pike Place and the waterfront. Lots of shopping nearby.
This had a great location...within a few minutes walking of Pike Place Market and other areas. The room was nice but a little hot (we were there during a heat wave though). The one thing I didn't like was the bathroom door was frosted glass so if someone got up in the middle of the night you could see the bathroom light shine through. I'm light sensitive when I sleep so that bothered me a little. I ended up putting a hand towel by my bed and covering my eyes with that. The rooftop pool was a great feature. My 8 year old wanted to go swimming every day so we did either in the morning or at the end of the night. The hours on it were great for us! Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Wifi and gimmicks

Posted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: The location
Cons: Hire more help
Location: Shopping district, near by tourist traps, easy access to many high end resturants.
Come on no free wifi at the rooms? We have to pay for wifi? Internet access is not a privilege its expected. The whole gimmick with a low housekeeping staff and giving us a voucher to be "green" is pointless. it seems to me the staff will have to work twice as hard to maintain the upkeep. I was not stratified with my stay.
