Very cozy, well located, and musically historicPosted Oct 11, 2014
Awesome hotel. Rooms are not your typical hotel. They are very cozy with a window that actually opens and a fireplace in each room. Also very historic from a musical standpoint with visitors such as the Beatles, Kurt Cobain, and Led Zepplin. Also very well located to walk to some of Seattle's great sites.

It was a nice place to stay - the staff friendly but the room was missing basic things like coffee which had to be called in and asked for-valet parking for one night and was charged and taxed for four-getting that corrected wasn't easy - the room above our could hear the other guest walking around and the water pipes made noises - water view was good but that meat a lot of city noise every hour of the day and night

Beautiful viewsPosted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: The location
Cons: Noise control
Nice room and views; friendly staff. Noisy heating system kept waking us during the night, but they did compensate us for the inconvenience.

Wonderful hotel on the Seattle waterfront!Posted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: The hotel provides a courtesy shuttle every hour to any area within 1-1/2 miles. Happy Hour in the 6/7 Pub was great, but go early as it is popular!
Cons: The only improvement I can think of is better lighting in the bathroom -- but I say that about all hotels.
Location: The hotel is within easy walking distance to ferries, harbour tours, Pikes Market, Space Needle, Chihuly Gardens, etc -- so much to see and do.
The Edgewater Hotel was such an enjoyable experience we found it difficult to leave and explore Seattle! We had a main floor room on Elliott Bay with a balcony over the water that was perfect for sipping wines from Washington and talking about our day. We found this to be a higher end hotel with personality. The lobby was inviting with chairs facing the harbour and areas to curl up by the fireplaces. The restaurant and lounge food were excellent and the harbour view was fabulous. All areas of hotel staff were pleasant and attentive.

Excellent place!Posted Oct 4, 2014
This hotel was absolutely lovely. Very cozy and welcoming. The bed was the most comfortable that we have ever experienced while traveling. Hotel staff were extremely helpful about guiding us in the right directions of all the fun stuff to do in the city. And you just won't get a better view from any other hotel. It was fabulous.

Well situated beautiful viewsPosted Oct 3, 2014
Pros: Overall, I liked the location, the restaurant and bar views, and the fireplace in the room was a nice touch.
Location: Lots to do within walking distance, pike place market, shopping restaurants, etc.
Walking distance to all downtown major attractions . By no means a luxurious hotel but the decor is appropriate for natural surroundings. 6 7 Restaurant offers spectacular views of Puget Sound, the meal was delicious and well presented and service was very good. We stayed in a Deluxe city view room which was rather small and offered few amenities. I would recommend a room on the water side for views as well as reducing the noise from the train which passes in front of the hotel. The staff was very courteous and pleasant Overall a good choice, would return.

Quite literally on the WaterPosted Sep 28, 2014
Pros: Beautiful location, great staff.
Cons: Like it just the way it is.
Location: Pike Place Market, Seattle Art Museum, Space Needle and many great restaurants.
The room was truly on the water, not just on the edge, but on. Sailboats drifting by the window was fantastic. Even saw a seal or two. Staff here are lovely.
