Quite literally on the Water

Posted Sep 28, 2014
Pros: Beautiful location, great staff.
Cons: Like it just the way it is.
Location: Pike Place Market, Seattle Art Museum, Space Needle and many great restaurants.
The room was truly on the water, not just on the edge, but on. Sailboats drifting by the window was fantastic. Even saw a seal or two. Staff here are lovely.

I love the water front, the view in the evening was stunning, bed was very cozy. I would love to go back again and bring my friends and family with me.

It was awesome. The water view with a deck is the way to go with this hotel!

I hope I get to stay there again.

It was a beautiful room over the water. My brother especially adored the bear footrest. I loved the bathrobe. Since they are bulky, it is hard to travel with my own. It located near many of Seattle's attractions. The shuttle was also convenient. The dining room was fabulous! I loved the eggs Benedict with tomatoes and basil.

Noisy

The walls are too thin. I could hear conversations in the hallway and room next store. When the person upstairs would walk, I could hear every step. They put earplugs at the bedside for a reason.

The smallest room ever with the smallest bed ever!

Miles to walk to room and very small room. Bar too full to get a seat and nice deck you weren't allowed to sit on without a reservation- booked for our entire stay. We travel light so just about fitted into room with luggage!!

Not worth the price

Rooms were surprisingly small even despite paying for a room upgrade. Besides the main lobby and restaurant the hotel was a bit musty and old. Room was ultimately ok but nothing special for the rate in the seattle dowtown area.

Very nice and comfortable hotel close to the train

Beautiful room that looked out at the space needle. We would have liked to stAy longer since it was so comfortable. The only thing I would change is to have 2 sinks in the gorgeous bathroom. I'd like to have that bathroom in my house!

Couldn't have asked for a better stay!

The only thing I wish to have changed about my weekend stay at The Edgewater was spending more time in the room! Our waterfront room on the second floor was phenomenal! Opening the window and having water down below was nothing I could have ever imagined! The bathroom was gorgeous. I loved how the doors opened up into the room and the tub.. oh my gosh! I told my boyfriend to keep the tub and style of the bathroom in mind when that time comes in our lives! I have nothing negative to say about this hotel. I surprised my boyfriend with an outfit in the closet that I mailed a week before to have dry cleaned for our arrival. My request was granted, and added a nice surprise to the already surprise trip for him!
