“Great 'boutique' hotel”

El Gaucho is a wonderful hotel. Parking is non-existent, but valet parking is available and highly recommended. The gift bag is a great touch. The bed was fabulous!

“Great place...”

We were in Seattle for our honeymoon, and The Inn at El Gaucho was awesome. The room was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The steakhouse downstairs was awesome! One of the best steaks I have ever had! I would recommend The Inn at El Gaucho to anyone planning to visit Seattle.

“How Cute is This Place??!!!”

What a find! I was coming-up to Seattle to see friends in the Belltown area, and saw this hotel listed. I read the reviews, which were all good, and decided to give it a try. I was not dissappointed! There's only 27 rooms, all above the El Gaucho restaurant itself. My room was plenty large, except the bathroom was alittle small for me (I have a lot of "stuff" I need to set in the bathroom...I'm a girl!!). Two large windows looked-out to Belltown buildings, and the water. The bed was very comfortable! My only complaint about the room was the TV volume had to be turned all the way up to 'max' to hear it, and even then, was hard to hear from the bed. I liked how they had music playing in the room when you first entered! Nice.... Here's the only truly negative aspect of my hotel experience. Around 3:00am, I awoke to a large group returning from their night of - I assume from their loud voices - partying. It went on in the hallway for quite some time. They may as well of been in the room with me, it was that loud. Much louder than the TV! Then, in the morning sometime around 8:00am, I heard the housekeeping crew starting to clean rooms, and vaccuming. Again, they might as well have been cleaning my room. The walls here must be pretty thin. That was a shame, because it kept me from having a restfull night, which I was looking forward to on that comfy bed!!! I would still go back, though, and give them another try, because I liked everything else so darn much!!!

“Great Belltown Hotel”

Very nice rooms, very comfortable and really nice staff. I liked the little touches like the bottled water and fresh cookies in the room. Easy to walk to Seattle Center, restaurants and bars in the area, the market and downtown.

“Would stay here again!”

Very comfortable, but small hotel, located above a ritzy restaurant with great, but expensive food. Very close to Pike Fish Market and located near the dock where we were waiting to take an Alaskan cruise. We didn't need any transfers and plenty of available activities to enjoy. We only spent a late evening and morning, but could have spent several days without having to drive.

“Those rooms, those wonderfull rooms,”

Those rooms will cut through the gloomyest of moods and light up your night out in Seattle like neon on a dark star filled sky. The bold colors, dark leather chairs the crystal and red roses, they won't soon be forgoten.

“Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful!”

Our room was beautiful. The bed was so luxurious. Very soft linens and perfect bed. The air conditioner was a bit tricky. It was easy to walk to Pike Market and had lots of little places for dinner within walking distance. The restaurant downstairs was the best steak meal ever, but at least $150 for two with appetizers, dinner, dessert, and drinks...but so worth it. Use the hotel for reservations and they comped us dessert. Road traffic could be a bit noisy if you are used to quiet evenings. You have to pay for parking, but you just pull in front of the hotel and the car is taken care of. It was worth it, and they kept our luggage before we checked in and after we checked out. Go there, you'll love it.
