From the '20s but in excellent shapePosted Dec 9, 2014
Pros: Pleasant, helpful staff. Close to the Town Hall for a concert & down the street from the Frye Museum.
In the First Hill neighborhood of Seattle, once where the richest lived, this hotel has been kept up. Adjacent to the Virginia Mason Hospital, but we were never bothered by ambulance sirens, etc. I would stay there again.

Convenient, comfortable for a one night stayPosted Nov 25, 2014
Pros: comparative price
Cons: free parking and complimentary breakfast. Too old to do much else.
Location: Next to Virginia Mason hospital, and convenient to other hospitals. Not many activities or restaurants nearby.
Needed a hotel the night before surgery at a nearby hospital. Sleep only. No breakfast, had to pay extra for parking two blocks down the street.. Convenient and less costly than other nearby hotels. Comfortable enough for a one night stay. Very old but clean. Would not vacation here or stay longer than necessary.

Close to all the places you want to go in Seattle.Posted Nov 11, 2014
Pros: Warm and friendly.
Cons: Freshen the decorations.
Location: There is everything with a walk or a cheap taxi ride.
Hotel is older 1950's type of place, smaller rooms than the big chains. It is close to everything with the ability to get the rail link from airport and a short taxi ride up the hill and you are there. I enjoyed the whole 4 day stay as the hotel is right for all areas and I could walk everywhere. The area is safe and close to some great eating places either down town or in the local districts.

Big clean room with a viewPosted Nov 10, 2014
The room was much bigger than I expected so we had plenty of room for us and all our gear. It's a little dated but was clean. The Keurig in the room was a big plus. Pike Place is 15 minute walk but be ready to hike back uphill to the hotel.

Bargain in SeattlePosted Nov 10, 2014
Location: Near hipster Capitol Hill bars and restaurants.
Had never stayed here and didn't want to pay an extra $100 a night to be right downtown. Clean, quiet, comfortable, great friendly staff and a 10 minute walk to downtown.

Hotel on the slopePosted Oct 31, 2014
I walked to the hotel from the LINK station, and there was a very steep slope right outside the hotel, which is exhausting to walk. For the room, it is clean. The only thing is that there was no hairdryer. As for location, it is 20-30 minute walk from major tourist spots.
