Pros: The convenient location to what we wanted to do while in Seattle.
Cons: To have a mini refrigerator in the room. To fix the very loose toilet seat.
Location: There was the art museum, hospitals, Seattle Center, down town Seattle, Pike place market, waterfront just to name a few
The hotel was convenient. But I was disappointed with the furniture compared to the photos on their web site. They showed antique 4 poster beds and stuffed chairs. The closets were huge and larger than the bathroom. There were two straight back chairs but no comfy chair. I expected a mini refrigerator for medications and soft drinks but there was none. The cheap plastic toilet seat was very loose and was afraid it would break every time it was used.

Good Hotel Budget TravellersPosted Sep 13, 2014
Pros: The rooms are large and old fashioned, but had a separate box room? for the cases, backpacks. The room service was great.
Location: The Central Library downhill from hotel is fascinating. The architecture inside is brilliant. Start from the top floor and work your way down through.
This hotel is part of a large medical complex which is used by relatives of patients, plus ordinary travellers. This is comfortable accommodation in the central district of Seattle, but at the top of a steep hill. Don't think about walking from the train station unless you have a sherpa for the luggage. It is downhill to all the major attractions like Pike Place market, the Fantastic Library and the Tour Trolley.

sweat box, no parkingPosted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: not much
Cons: almost everything
Location: located next to an emergency room, so plenty of sirens all through the night. Fantastic!
Expedia said there was parking provided and there was not, had to park in a garage for $24, Air conditioning wasn't working, took two hours to get transferred to a room that wasn't a sweat box.

Old and run downPosted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: Walking distant to downtown area.
Location: Pikes Market--shopping--and lots of places to eat and have a beer!
There was no A/C as stated and while we were in Seattle they were having a heat wave. Barley could open windows. Maid staff left our room door open after cleaning, came back to a room with door open. Attached to a hospital so your listening to sirens a lot!!!!

Hotel was close to downtown and pikes place. Air con didn't work and overall condition was 5/10. Good for one night stays and that's about it.

It was ok.Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: The location.
Cons: A lot.
If you like the more "modern" conveniences, not a good choice. Building is very old. Room was too warm, opened window and was woke up at 3AM due to loud banging, then loud conversation. Closed the window which made no difference. You could here the conversation through the wall like they were in your room. Could have used more sleep. Stayed there because it was our first trip to Virginia Mason hospital and the hotel is connected, which was very convenient. Next trip we'll stay close by, but at another hotel.

Pros: Room service and the food were excellent! Delicious taste and reasonable prices.
Cons: Air conditioning would be nice.
Location: The location was fine...lovely old neighborhood.
We checked at nearly 10 p.m. and were thrilled to be told room service would be provided. We were tired and hungry. The food was delicious and the room inviting and quiet. We had a delightful stay and would repeat it.

Simply HorriblePosted Aug 25, 2014
I highly suggest to anyone that wants to stay at a hotel and not a motel to NOT stay here. The building has that old musty smell and needs a serious renovation. The restaurant was closed for "renovations" and there is only one ice machine on the lobby floor. The hotel rooms are super old and do not have a fridge and the bathroom has that I'm in a horror movie feel to it. The best part about our trip was that we did not stay in the hotel that much, pay the extra 50-70 bucks a night and stay at the Crowne Plaza or an extra 100 and stay at the Fairmont, it's worth it in the long run
