Refurbished hotel in downtown Seattle

Posted Dec 14, 2014
Lovely staff, not expensive, but not memorable for our family of six, compared to the other hotels on our trip. Sofa bed not made up, not enough towels, low shower pressure, no included breakfast. Other than the lovely staff, there wasn't much memorable about the hotel. Has had an inexpensive makeover. Clean, with comfy beds.

Terrific hotel

Pros: The room was really nice in all respects. The bulb was out above the refrigerator, but otherwise everything was in good condition.
Cons: Check to make sure all bulb are burning as it is dark in the room otherwise.
Location: Very convenient to the Armory and various restaurants. Parking garage is a real asset for this hotel.
Visited Seattle for the 2014 Nutcracker performance on Saturday to see my granddaughter perform. It was a wonderful experience.

The rooms are very clean. I have stayed here before. The place is always clean and friendly. The deco is cheerful and tastefully done. The pool is small and there is no hot tub. But for a comfy and clean place to stay this is a very good choice.

Pros: Enjoyed the pool, coffee maker, tv, ambiance, dog friendly, umbrella came in handy!
Cons: Wish rooms had a tub. A bit more seating in pool area. Vending machines on our floor only had drinks, snacks would have been nice. Guaranteed parking.
Location: Close to a lot of great amenities and restaurants.
We went here to stay for Thanksgiving. Room was clean and comfortable. Kids loved the pool. Wish there was a free continental breakfast, but there was coffee and bagels/muffins etc... available for purchase. Price was right. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Very clean hotel.seems like new or remodeled recently.it is in down town seattle close to everything.5 minutes walking distance from space needle.cons you could hear people talk while they are walking in the street and cars passing by. By the way you get better deal if you book by expedia instead of booking direct with the hotel!

Will be back!

Pros: Hotel was attractive, clean and easily accessible. Front desk, cleaning staff and shuttle drivers were incredibly friendly and helpful. Loved it!!
Cons: Free breakfast!
Location: This hotel is walking distance to Seattle Center (Space Needle, EMP Museum, etc) and the monorail which gets you downtown in mere minutes. Excellent!
Someone told me about this hotel when I was planning my trip. It is outside of the main tourist areas so it is quiet but easily accessible, especially with the free shuttle. Our room was very modern and clean. It felt very cozy and welcoming unlike your typical, generic hotel room. We came across about 6 different people at the front desk during our stay. They were ALL very friendly and willing to help. The cleaning staff always smiled and said good morning when we passed them in the hallway. The shuttle drivers were very knowledgeable and willing to go out of their way to make our travels safe and pleasant. The one thing that would make this hotel better is free breakfast. The complimentary pineapple cupcakes are very tasty!! :)

I will always stay at the Maxwell Hotel when visiting Seattle. The place is spotless and is very uniquely decorated. The have just the staff needed to keep the place running well. The price is amazing, considering what the Maxwell has to offer. By far my favorite hotel to visit

Best place to stay in Seattle hands down!

Posted Nov 26, 2014
Pros: See above!
Cons: Nothing
Location: Lower Queen Ann has a lot of cool bars and restaurants close by and walking distance to downtown!
It's just the perfect very charming hotel! They have totally revamped and refurbished the whole hotel and the rooms are very avante garde, beautiful and modern and the showers and gorgeous and large! FREE PARKING for guests!!!! Unheard of! They are not quite AS central but central enough (a few blocks from much more expensive hotels with parking that costs 45 a night!) They have shuttles that take you to cool places in Seattle (Pioneer Squire, Pike's, South Lake Union and one other place can't remember, but it's free, you can schedule it and it goes until 10:30!) We were just blown away all the way around, not to mention they have a cool bar/restaurant called The Rock and their own bar, and a couple of different cozy swanky places to hang out in the lobby by a fireplace, etc... I will always stay here!
