The Paramount Near The Theater

Posted Feb 25, 2015
Pros: Clean rooms.
Cons: add shower caps and a gift shop. I would add a van to pick-up and drop-off at the airport. maybe lower parking to 20 dollars a day,
Location: Great if you go to the Paramount Theater.
I was Happy the hotel was in walking distance to the theater. I wish they had a gift shop. Over all my stay was good.

Amazing

Posted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: Everything and Everyone!
Cons: Being a past travel agent I cannot see any improvement needed.
Location: See above experience.
Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by bell staff and front desk. Caroline (Front Desk) gave us necessary information regarding the hotel and room in addition to tourist information. She was always so helpful and cheerful through out our stay. Our room was beautiful, linens new and bed so comfy we have purchased one! The cleanness not only our room but the entire hotel was amazing along with the gym. Obviously housekeeping is just as amazing as everyone else at the Paramount. The manager went out of his way to chat with us about anything and everything we needed or our comments on the hotel, any sights and with restaurant suggestions and tours. The location was fantastic, few blks to shopping, Pikes Market and even walkable to Pioneer Sq. We cannot recommend this hotel enough. Thank you Paramount Hotel for the PERFECT 5 night stay!

Independent Hotel with Amenities of Large Chain

Posted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: Location, cleanliness, style
Location: All the major tourist attractions, plus Seattle Public Library (coolest library building in the US!), classic Seattle nightclubs, and brewpubs.
Nice independent semi-upscale hotel in downtown Seattle, walking distance to Westlake, Pike Place, Seattle Center, and Convention Center. Three of us in one room (2 queen beds)--room is a bit small for two large beds, but otherwise comfortable. Street noise an issue for super-light sleepers, but we managed fine. Nice furnishings throughout. Unless you're a super bargain hunter for parking, use the valet service. They're quick, but not cheap--$42 during our stay--but trying to find parking on your own in the neighborhood just isn't worth the hassle. (Plus this is in a part of downtown with lots of 1-ways and no left-turns.) Price is comparable to some of the mid-level chains (Hilton, e.g.), but less expensive than the upscale hotels with more name cache. It would be expensive for one person traveling on holiday, but for business and/or if sharing a room, it's quite reasonable.

Weekend in Seattle

Posted Feb 24, 2015
Great staff! Restaurant downstairs with good sushi. Within walking distance of most things downtown. Want to go to the space needle, head 3 blocks down and jump on the monorail. Seriously going to be going here again for our weekend excursions. Price was good and the beds were AMAZING@!

Great Location, Nice Staff

Posted Feb 21, 2015
Cons: Seattle, like my hometown of San Francisco, is damp. It was hard to feel warm and comfortable. I was either damp and shivering or hot and dry.
Location: I work in insurance, so many of my customers have offices downtown. This is a convenient location for my visits, and everyone knows the hotel.
Really friendly and helpful staff - from Valet to Front Desk, Room Service, and Concierge - everyone was great.

Centrally located hotel

Posted Feb 20, 2015
Pros: Staff was extremely polite, friendly, and knowledgeable of area; offered great recommendations. Rooms large, clean and pleasing.
Location: Centrally located in downtown Seattle. Close to major stores, Pike Place Market, and first Starbucks. Easy distance to sightseeing musts.
Paramount Hotel is located in the middle of downtown Seattle. Easy walking distance to Pike Place Market, shopping malls, and restaurants. Taxis easily available for other travel. Beds extremely comfortable and room offered two queen beds. Would gladly go back to Seattle and stay at this hotel.
