When we arrived to our room, the toilet was plugged. I went down to the front desk and spoke with Alex. I have to say that Alex had great customer service and we appriciated that. Alex offered to move us but we liked the room on the 4th floor so we stayed and unplugged the toilet. Alex was wonderful.

Affordable for the Seattle areaPosted Sep 28, 2013
Pros: Affordable for Seattle area
Location: Close to Seattle
The picture we saw at the time of booking made it appear that the bed was in a separate room from the sofa bed and kitchen area. That wasn't the case; all was in an open room the size of a typical hotel room; not what I would consider a suite. Other than that, the room was fine and the breakfast offered many choices.

Great ValuePosted Sep 4, 2013
I highly recommend the TownePlace Suites. The accommodations are clean and comfortable and at a tremendous value. The staff is exceptionally courteous and friendly and works to exceed your expectations. The rooms are very clean and comfy and come with everything you might need for a short/extended stay. It was too cold for the kids to swim in the outdoor pool, so the front desk gladly provided access to the hotel next door (SpringHill) so they could go swimming in the indoor pool. The location is great with easy access on/off the interstate.

Pros: The room was my favorite of course. Big spacious and really comfortable.
Cons: The breakfast meal. I think the food could be a little better. And a little more varieties.
Location: Theres like a vast empty land adjecent the hotel. it doesnt complement the sorroundings of the hotel

Satisified Business TravelerPosted Aug 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
This was my first time at a Towneplace and the accommodations were perfect for a business traveler. Good breakfast and adequate room amenities. I could stay in the room for up to a week and be comfortable. The biggest negative was that I had a hard time getting to the hotel as there were a few in the immediate area and the driveway signage was not good.

Good amenities for the price.Posted Aug 6, 2013
Enjoyed our stay here. Close to freeways, very good complimentary breakfast, friendly staff, very clean. Only drawback for us was the small fitness room and only an outdoor pool (the weather was cool). But they allowed us to use the indoor pool at the Marriott next to us, so that was very nice!

Overall a good experiencePosted Jul 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
It isa decent place to stay. The people were very nice and the room was comfortable. The only issue of concern is the shower/tub curtain appeared to have a little growth near the top of it and I noticed long black hairs sticking to the shower wall (I have very short brown hair).

Clean Cozy HotelPosted Jul 22, 2013
Pros: The look of the outside, functionality of the room and kitchen, heated pool, clean, and a delicious breakfast.
Cons: The breakfast area is too small, but that would take a remodel to improve that.
Location: We found some pretty good restaurants and a walmart not too far from the hotel in Renton, but Seattle is a short drive away.
We had to have a little family get-away, and decided to visit Seattle. This hotel was only a 15-20 min drive away from downtown, which made it easy to go back and forth. The outside of the hotel is very cozy and has a townhouse feel to it with the landscaping and such. Our room was a Queen with pull out sofa studio style room, and was perfect for my wife and I and our little girl. The kitchen was great and we even planned ahead and brought our own food so we could cook in the kitchen to save some money. It was well equipped with pots and pans and the dishes/utensils that we needed. We also loved the pool, which was heated, making it a very pleasant experience. The only poorly thought-out design of the hotel was the breakfast area. It was rather small and was tough to get a seat, but we were able to get a table 2/3 days, and the other day, we just took our food back to our room and enjoyed it there. It was a great experience and we loved it. Clean, affordable, and not too far from Seattle.
