Good price for this location

Walking distance to Seattle center. Parking fee is cheap compare to other hotels in this area. Air Conditioner is noisy. Good for one or two nights stay.

Amazing location!

Pros: The location/view. The great price.
Cons: I was totally satisfied!
Location: Space needle, monorail, EMP, Pacific science center, Pioneer Square, Pike Place Market, Underground Tour, Seattle Aquarium, Argosy harbor tours....
Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean and the beds were actually comfortable! A BIG plus for me! We didn't get to use the pool, but it was open and looked clean. The location couldn't be better. Close to all the fun attractions and seeing the space needle every time we walked out the front door was so awesome!

Excellent location, decent quality for the price

Pros: The bed/bedding was very comfortable and warm. The room was clean.
Cons: Exterior and lobby aesthetics could perhaps be improved, but I'm reaching here. Again, at this price point, there really isn't much to complain about.
Location: Space Needle, EMP, Pacific Science Center, monorail station to Pike Place Market and Seattle Center (2 minute ride).
When we arrived, we were given an upgrade to a larger bed since I'd be sharing with my two young sons - thanks!! When we got to the room, the shower was still wet, had a square of used soap in the corner and a wet washcloth on the ledge. But the shower and rest of the bathroom and bedroom was very clean. I was pleasantly surprised to find a mini-fridge in the room and a safe in the closet. The window opened at either end swing-out style but had no screens and both panes were cracked (they were reinforced windows). The walls seemed thin - we could hear foot traffic outside the door, but since we were at the end of the hall, it wasn't much of an issue. Breakfast was ok. The breakfast attendant was fast and kept the place as spotless as she could. The food was quite lack-luster as one could expect at this price point. Yogurt with granola and dried cranberries was a nice addition to the usual hotel fare. Remedy this at least one morning of your stay with a drop in to Tilikum Place Cafe a couple blocks away. A-MAZE-ING. Free coffee (granted, not the best coffee, but its free) and lemon water always available in the lobby - this is Seattle after all! On our final morning, a note was slid under the door that we had been automatically checked out and were free to leave whenever we wanted before check-out time without checking out at the front desk - nice touch!

Nice place to stay on a budget close to everything

Posted Mar 31, 2014
Pros: Friendly/helpful staff. Clean rooms.
Cons: update/maintain the aging doors
Location: RIGHT next to Seattle Center. Very easy to get to Belltown and downtown and the freeway.
with all of the Emerald City Comic Con hotels selling out, and being expensive, we opted to stay at the Travelodge, which was a bit out of the way from the Con, but close enough not to make it painful. We were RIGHT next to the Space Needle, making it very nice for one of the girls traveling with us, who had never been to Seattle before. The rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly. The parking lot is a bit small, but the staff was helpful and found us parking. Only downside was one elevator breaking down on a busy Sunday morning check out time, and the door to our room was a bit difficult to open. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay, and will stay there again in the future. Cheers!

Nice and close to Seattle Center

Nice that they provied breakfast at the best western while they were renovating there. Loved that it was so close to Seattle Center. And from there easy to get everywhere else!

Not awful, but you can do better

Posted Mar 25, 2014
Spent two nights here in a standard 1-Queen room (right next to the ice machine, ugh.) Bed was fine, but the ceiling looked extensively water-stained and there was what looked like spilled coffee on the wall by the head of the bed. Bathroom was clean but very small (my head hit the ceiling of the shower stall) and there was some fraying wallpaper by the toilet. Also for some reason the picture was missing from above the bed. All in all, disappointing; there are at least half a dozen hotels within half a mile that would be a similar price, and next time I'll be trying one of them instead.

Adequate if you spend your time on the town.

You get what you pay for. Travelodge isn't the worst hotel in the world and certainly adequate for those that travel and spend more time out and about than sitting in their room. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean albeit rather dated looking. Downside? The breakfast is awful...I've no other word to describe it. Sure it's free but I'd rather pay more and not feel sick afterward.

Disappointing

Posted Mar 14, 2014
The hotel is looking dated. The room was quite dusty and needed a thorough and complete cleaning. The swimming pool was not open, which was a major disappointment for my kids, as it was a primary reason we choose the Travelodge (we have stayed there during March Break before, and the pool has always been open). They also unexpectedly charged an extra fee for parking, which hadn't been charged before. I will choose a different hotel for my next trip to Seattle.

comfortable hotel close to downtown and Seattle Ce

Posted Mar 14, 2014
Pros: The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very quiet.
Cons: Wifi service and tv service. Two of the nights during my stay the tv lost reception in the middle of a show and did not restart.
Location: Close to Seattle Center and the monorail. Within waling distance of downtown.
I was very pleased with my accommodations. The only thing that was problematic was the free wifi service. The wifi was only sporadically available.
