“Enjoyed the hotel and nearness to UW Campus”
Very good hotel and convenient to campus
“Very impressed.”
I had to go to University Hospital for tests and stayed at the Watertown hotel. It is very convenient to the hospital and they have a free shuttle. The staff is very kind and helpful. The room was beautiful and quite comfortable. I have to return to UW hospital for an overnight surgery in Jan. and need to stay in Seattle for an additional 2 days. I will definitely stay at the Watertown again.
“Great location and an excellent value”
We look for more modern hotels and this is a great inner city example. Nice rooms, great lobby and really safe parking all work well. My wife and I loved being able to get to the university easily as well as it's a great central location to get downtown or to Fremont or points west. I read some reviews that the staff wasn't good but we had great encounters and lots of help. We will stay again.
“Very nice, resonably priced!”
The Watertown Hotel suited my needs perfectly. It was very convenient to my meeting the next day and with underground parking included it was perfect. The room was very comfortable with everything in good working order and my room was perfectly quite. Very restful and highly recommended.
“Excellent hotel near University of Washington”
The hotel was very modern. The room was excellent and much nicer than I had expected. The bed was comfortable, and every amenity was available. The continental breakfast was great as well. The hotel was walking distance from the University of Washington as well as the UW shopping district. There was a convenience store right across the street as well. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance as well! I highly recommend the hotel for anyone wanting to stay near the university.
“excellent hotel, excellent location, great staff and service”
Everything was great. Clean, good breakfast great location and nice desk people. The hot water heater broke on our first morning, so they reimbursed us %50 of what we paid for our stay! Would totally go again.
“Falling Quality”
We stayed twice previously and were very happy, but this time there was a noticeable degrading of the experience. Primarily the included hot breakfast buffet had no hot breakfast items, but instead a bowl of hard-boiled eggs with apologies. Secondly the afternoon wine gathering for guests had been dispensed with, although still on their web site when we booked a couple of months previously. I think they call this "reversion to the mean" in the investing world. The location is still ideal if you have business at the U (in our case this time a graduating son). Incidentally, we could not book directly on the hotel web site (nothing available) but could book the room for 6 nights via Expedia! What's with that?
“I will try a second time.”
Hotel was extremely convenient for my weekend visit. Modern, totally secure, provided breakfast and cocktail hour. Room was not as clean as I like: hair in tub, closet doors had sticky splatter, bathroom fan was covered in lint. These are just the items I could see. Complimentary coffee on the second day was not replinished. I'll give it second try, but if disappointed a second time will never return. Too many other places to stay.
“Departing Seattle”
A couple of years ago I would have rated this hotel as one of the best. They have fallen well below that mark for this stay.
“Great value and free parking!”
We've had family stay at the Watertown in the past, and they all had a great experience, so we tried it for ourselves this time. The room layout was great (we were traveling with an infant, so there was plenty of space to set up a packnplay), and the bathroom was nice and spacious. The views weren't great, and it's not a very scenic location, but for people who need to be near the University and have a car to get around, it's a perfect place! We'll definitely be back.
