“Great Stay”

We had a handicap accessible room that worked great formyhusband whom has a prosthetic leg. We also had our dog. Great stay! Close to Children's Hospital, our destination. Yummy lemon cupcakes and in room popcorn. Very clean and quiet.

“Great for a family vacation.”

My husband and I stayed in one room and our 2 adult sons in the room across the hall. The rooms were very clean. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel had a shuttle to drop you off at different areas, which was great.

“Modern comfort is a great location.”

I stayed at the Watertown for one evening with my daughter while we visited the campus at the University of Washington. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the campus and all of the coffee shops, shopping, and eateries along "The Ave". The staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful; giving us directions, storing our luggage after checkout and calling us a cab to take us to the airport. The room comes equipped with free wi-fi, large thirsty towels, and terry robes. Also, there is a small fridge, a microwave and complimentary water bottles. I didn't prepare the in room coffee and do not know if it is complimentary or not. However, the lobby has delicious coffee and tea available and afternoon treats. My one complaint is that the water pressure in the shower was similar to standing under a dripping faucet. I do not know if this is a problem in the hotel generally, or if it was confined to our room. But, overall I'd recommend this hotel. This was my first visit to Seattle, and since my daughter has decided to attend the university, I will be returning again soon.

The Watertown Hotel is an excellent moderately priced hotel in the middle of the university district. Excellent. We would stay there again.

“Great value near University”

The four of us: two parents, two teenagers, spent 3 nights here. The location is great if you are visiting the university, and the free parking made everything easily accessible. The room was an incredible value through an online service, especially with free internet and free parking. The room was large [when we asked, they said since we were 4, they gave us one of the larger studios]. The TV was on a useful divider. The room could have used a table; the desk is tucked into a corner, and couldn't be pulled out. The lighting was dim unless you turned the VERY bright fluorescents around the sink on. There was a microwave and small fridge. Overall it worked for us, though the lighting and furniture could use a rethinking. Huge amount of student-oriented food choices within a couple of blocks; quality eating required help from Yelp.
