Anniversary stay

Posted Nov 25, 2013
Pros: Friendly, and helpful staff. Live music. Serene surroundings, Barking Frog serves great cuisine.
Location: Wonderful serene surroundings on the grounds, with waterfalls, wishing well, etc. The winery, is great to tour, and taste!
My wife and I stayed at Willows Lodge for our Anniversary for the weekend. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The staff left a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine with some hand dipped strawberries, and a nice little note. I was very impressed on the service, and the attention to detail. The live music was great fun.The staff was very friendly, and helpful, especially the young lady helping me at the front desk, Jennifer E. I want to thank her especially, for her help in making our stay memorable. We look forward to staying again, and booking some Spa services. Thanks, Brint F.

True Customer Service Reveals All When Booking

Posted Nov 13, 2013
We were staying at the Willows for three nights for a birthday celebration and normally we travel to a very desirable destination in Oregon for special occasions. BUT we decided that we sure give Willows an opportunity to show us their best attributes as the place sounded very inviting. Now I must say that, John, the valet was amazing always right their with the vehicle and a wealth of info about what is in the area and where to go for whatever we wanted or needed. Also the spa ladies where very accomadating as Jessica, who I had for a massage was amazing. Julie, who did my facial and body Polish was great and very informative on my skin issues. Janine, whom I had for my pedicure was so sweet and very efficient at her job. The young lady at reception in the spa could use a little more customer service training. Definitely not very warm and inviting when I first arrived Sunday morn at nine, maybe she had a rough Saturday night, but eventually came around. Just felt awkward for myself at the beginning. Thank the good Lord my experiences was the actually trained pros was so terrific. Unfortunately Sunday was my day to spend time at the steam room intermittently and the bloody thing was broken. Also we were not informed at the time of booking or during our stay there that the carpet replacing was going to be going on. Thought it was tacky that no one brought it to our attention we just had to come upon it, definitely could of handled that better,so for now we'll see?!??

Lovely Lodge nestled in a beautifully landscaped o

Posted Nov 1, 2013
Pros: The ambience and amenities. The staff was on their game at all times. The added benefit of the exceptional spa made it more special.
Cons: The lighting in the room at max level was still not enough for 65+ guests. It was hard to do any reading.
Location: Location was perfect for wine tasting rooms/wineries. Saltworks, a facility that processes sea salt from worldwide sources.
We booked a two night stay and needed to stay an extra night due to my husband having a sudden back problem. The front desk was very accommodating and worked it out that we could stay in the same room.

Pros: Fireplace and comfortable seating in the room with a nice garden tub and shower
Cons: Needs a bit of updating
Location: Location is in a wonderful setting
Comfortable hotel with in room fireplace, soaking tub, wonderful shower in a rustic lodge environment and great landscaping. In the country, but very close to the city. Going through a bit of a remodel which is needed. Stayed 12 years ago about a year after it opened and based on that the remodel is needed.

super cool and cozy lodge

Posted Oct 16, 2013
Pros: EVERYTHING
The Willows Lodge was a super beautiful surprise for us. Not knowing Seattle and the surroundings I first wanted to book a hotel in the heart of the city. But then I was reading about the parking fees and so on. That's when I decided to book the Willows Lodge. That was an excellent choice. The lodge is so beautiful. Stylish and still cozy with all the wood. The room provides a fireplace and a super nice bathtub. You can watch the fireplace while sitting in the tub. Only 30 minutes to drive from Woodinville/Willows Lodge to Seattle. Not an effort at all. And Woodinville itself is very lovely also. Cute little town in the middle of all these vineyards. We will definately come back!!!!!

Beautiful Comfortable But Needs Maintenance

Posted Oct 8, 2013
We arrived at about 3:00 and our room wasn't ready. We were told to wait in the lobby and they would call our name when our room was ready. We checked online and their stated check in time is 4:00. A little after 4:00 we hadn't been called yet, so we checked in with the front desk again, and our room was ready. We've stayed here several times before. The rooms are quite beautiful and we love the fireplace. The rooms are expensive and our expectations for that price are high. The rooms are aging somewhat and starting to look a little tired in places, such as the varnish was wearing off the bathroom door of our room. The hallways and carpets are looking a little worn and battered.

Willows Lodge is the most romantic hotel in Seattle I have ever been to so far. I wish I could stay a few more days. It is not fancy but its setting is truly adorable.

Beautiful retreat

Cons: We were far less impressed by the Barking Frog restaurant. The food was good but at the price of truly excellent food. The service was pretentious.
Location: There was no real need to do winery visits as you had great flights for tasting right there in the lounge. We only stayed one night and loved it.
From the free wine tasting at check-in to the beautiful grounds to the equally beautiful room, we loved our night at your lodge. We had stayed in a couple of other places that advertised a "2 person tub," but yours was the only one that truly was.
