“The Amara Resort is a Value Among High-End Hotels”

This was a first trip to Sedona and the service staff and accommodations of Amara Resort were exceptional. The room was very comfortable (the pillow-topped king-sized bed was the best bed I have ever slept in) with a full host of amenities one would expect for a four-star hotel. I heartily recommend the Amara Resort to anyone looking for a pleasant hotel experience while vacationing in Sedona!

“Sedona Views”

The staff was wonderful. Everyone was very helpful. The hotel is undergoing renovations which made the normal views not so great. It will be fantastic as soon as it is completed. There is a beautiful creek but we were not able to get to it because of the construction. The bed was soooo comfortable. It was a great room. It had a safe in the room, a chest of drawers and a walk in closet. The room had a coffee maker and they served Starbucks! Overall, the food was good, staff very friendly and helpful and the rooms very comfortable. The views from the patio was gorgeous!!

“Superb Hotel Expeience”

One of the best hotel visits ever. Staff was over the top friendly and helpful. Check it out, 6 pillows on the King Size bed with a spare in the closet. Very pleasant stay.

“An awesome value at a great location”

This was an excellent value. I was impressed with staff, style, and location. The food was excellent but may be a little pricey for an average family. The location in the middle of downtown was excellent, and t he scenery and views were spectacular. I will stay there again.

“Beautiful view”

The hotel is located in really close to all the shopping and restaurants. The restaurant at the hotel is supurb. The view from the restaurant is breathtaking. The infinity pool was to die for. It is well worth the money.

“Would Definitely Recommend”

Great location. Very friendly courteous staff. Shuttle service free from hotel and back within a half mile radius. Only draw back was a very steep hill from the hotel to the main street but we took the free shuttle after our first experience climbing the hill. There is a beautiful view from the hotel pool.

“Great hotel for family!”

Beautiful resort, great service! The room was spacious and clean with a beautiful view of a creek. The kids had room to move around and play. We loved the infinity pool! Located right off the main road in Sedona.

“Close to downtown Sedona”

What was not apparent to us when researching all the places to stay in Sedona was how far apart the hotels are located, some were isolated from downtown. Luckily, we did not stay at other places which would have required us to drive into town and the Amara Resort is a short walk to the downtown shops and restaurants (they also have a shuttle). The hotel entrance, lobby area, and restaurant could have come from a set of the TV show "Mad Men" but in a good, stylish way. Our room and bed were very comfortable. I wish we had come during a warmer time of year as the pool and Jacuzzi looked like they would have been a lot of fun if it were above freezing for our stay (we were there during a cold spell). We did have one meal at the restaurant which was outstanding and was as good as anything I've had in San Francisco. Staff were helpful and the free valet parking was great !

“Great stay except construction”

Great hotel. The only problem was that the entire pool area was undergoing rennovations. We were not notified of this until two days before we arrived. Somewhat disappointing. The staff was great and was able to suggest several wonderful hikes around the Sedona area.
