Different quality of room from prior visitPosted Nov 20, 2014
Pros: This stay - staff Prior visit - room and staff
Location: Was a little further from downtown area if shopping is important to you.
On my first stay the room must have been in a newer section and it was all on one level. This time the one bedroom unit they gave us was on two levels with the kitchen and dining area being up several stairs from the bedroom. Unfortunately, we are older with bad knees and it was uncomfortable for us. Plus the unit appeared to be older and the only view was a wall. First unit had a patio with partial view but this unit did not. Very hotel style But overall clean, staff is great, and location is okay. But if view, one story, and newer is important be sure to specify when reserving or checking in. This stay was only for one night so we did not ask for a change but any longer and I would not have stayed there.

great for familiesPosted Nov 14, 2014
Pros: location, amenities, room, staff
Cons: We could have used a dining table.
Location: Sedona and beautiful Red Rock country. Hiking, off-roading, art and excellent restaurants are plentiful.
We stayed in a 1 BR in the main building shared by the lobby. We needed the extra room as we traveled with our young one, and the spaciousness and amenities of our particular model proved to be valuable. It was split into two levels with a large bedroom including king bed, TV, fireplace and full bath downstairs with plenty of storage in the dresser and large closet with lighting and a safe as well as a desk. In addition a ceiling fan added a nice touch. Upstairs included another fan, living area with a closet and sleeper sofa, TV, DVD and a tidy kitchen with a relatively large fridge. The kitchen sported a dishwasher and 2-burner cooktop as well as Cuisinart appliances and cookware. The only missing piece was a dining table; instead a bar with four stools adjoining the kitchen provided eating space. This was the one caveat as our child is too small to utilize a stool but a large coffee table sufficed. There was another full bath upstairs. The staff was very responsive and efficient throughout the stay, which added to the experience. We would definitely stay again and enjoy the great location with beautiful views and ease of access to all Sedona typically offers.

Good hotel for the pricePosted Nov 11, 2014
Pros: Large rooms for a great price.
Cons: Needs blackout curtains and some updating. A more comfortable bed would have been nice.
Location: Loved staying in Oak Creek and having a nice little 10-15 minute drive into Sedona each day. Highly recommend eating at Elote and Hideaway House.
The hotel was able to check us in an hour early, which was helpful. When we got to our room, it was very warm and stuffy, but we quickly turned on the AC and it cooled down right away. In the room right next door, two small dogs were barking incessantly, but after calling the front desk, that stopped after a while. We were super disappointed by our view (of another hotel and its parking lot next door), but overall the room was very good for the price, especially compared to everywhere else in the area. Loved that we had two floors - bed, TV and bathroom on the bottom floor and up the stairs was a little living room, full kitchen and another bathroom. Wish the windows had blackout curtains (or any curtains - it only had blinds that let in a lot light from the parking lot next door), but we were able to rig some curtains with towels and a sheet. The room and hotel were definitely older and no one cleaned our room while we were there (stayed two nights), but again, we felt satisfied with it and were grateful for all the space.

Conveniently located. Nice viewsPosted Nov 10, 2014
This is. Timeshare unit. They charge resort fees on top of what you pay. Their marketing is aggressive and you will be called incessantly prior to arriving and solicited while you are there. We were gone all day, enjoyed our stay and it was a nice place but the constant contact was excessive

Enjoyed the facility. Nice pool. Bit too much pressure from the concierge person.

Nice hotel in Oak CreekPosted Nov 3, 2014
Pros: Comfortable room, good location.
Cons: The studio unit has no place to store your unpacked clothes except 2 nightstands, the room needs a dresser.
Location: Several trail-heads are nearby along with shops and restaurants in Oak Creek.
Attractive grounds, conveniently located off main road, but very quiet. They have a concierge to arrange activities, if desired.

MediocrePosted Oct 31, 2014
Poorly described in write up. This is a timeshare resort that's more expensive and has less to offer than other hotels in the area. Clean but in need of upgrading.
