Great hotel with spectacular views of the Red Rock

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: The price was incredible given the views we had of the Red Rocks and location in town.
Cons: It's a older hotel but they have done a great job with up keep. This is not your $250 a night resort. I'm in Sedona to play outside not sit in my room
Location: Lots to do and the hotel is the heart of Sedona
Good experience. Stuart at the front desk was great and gave us some good suggestions for places to visit.

Decent choice

Close to downtown an "Y". Staff made it clear they close at 10 pm. Coffee but no tea bags in room. Great view from balcony - good for star gazing! I'd go back!

Great view

Posted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: Sedona Views
Cons: Entire hotel needs a make over
Location: Hotel located in up-town, that's where you want to stay. Has everything nearby
Great uptown location, awesome views and that's about it. Bathroom toilet was almost as small as the space it was in. The room smelled. Bed was old and sagging and asked for new towles because they just didn't look clean. With all that aside the room had a great balcony that offered up some of Sedona's best views which included the sounds of a running creek. When i asked for a second story room the hotel staff stated at check-in that you get what you get when you reserve through other media outlets other then directly with the hotel.

Great view-convenient location

Posted Apr 19, 2014
Pros: We liked the location, convenience, and comfort of the room. The views were terrific and liked having a balcony that we could go out on and enjoy.
Cons: We would have liked a heated pool and hot water in the bathroom that would have been easier to control.
Location: Go to the ATV adventure, airport mesa, Chapel of the Holy Cross, Bell Rock, Slide Rock State Park and shopping. Many nice selections for restaurants.
Had great greeting by counter receptionist. Very friendly with great conversation. Close to shopping and restaurants. Had beautiful view of Snoopy Rock and of Oak Creek that flowed 100 feet below us into the woods. Even though it was close to the round-about, our room was in the back and very quiet. The hot-tub was nice but the pool was too cold.

Nice view but that is all.

Posted Apr 12, 2014
Pros: View
Location: Great location walking distance to shops.
The pool area was disappointing they only had 2 lounge chairs and 5 other chairs, plastic I might add. This resort is mote like an average motel. Not worth more than 100.00 per night.

Good location for overnight trip.

Posted Mar 31, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Very outdated. Shag carpet...really!! Bath vanity not in bathroom!
Location: Lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance.
Name is misleading.....this is NOT a RESORT! This is an acceptable overnight stop near tourist attractions. If you are looking for a place for several days ...keep looking. Clean and basic...no frills. Scenic views, yes, off back deck, but every place in town has as good or better. Very small room. Would not accomodate a family.

Good location but inattentive staff

Posted Mar 18, 2014
Pros: Pretty good location and price
Cons: Getting the billing correct
Location: Close to shopping
The hotel was wonderfully priced for Sedona and relatively close to the best sites. However I had prepaid and when I realized I was double-billed after I had left, I had trouble getting the staff to recognize their error and refund my overpayment.
