“GOOD PLACE TO STAY FOR GAMBLERS”
Front desk went out of there way to help out and also offer other packages for area sightseeing...Olivia is the best....in house restaurant waitresses need help, not very friendly and SLOW....
“Uncomfortable”
The beds are hard and the pillows are plastic so your head sweats all night. When we brought it to the hotels attention all they said was they were new beds. You could feel the springs. I am not saying they are not new but the were cheap cause they are the worst quality. I usually stay at the days inn down the street so I guess thats where I will continue to stay especially since it is cheaper.
“Fun overnighter from Phoenix”
I thought the hotel was very nice. The price was great and the bed was comfortable. It is downhill from the casino, but shuttles are provided. We just walked up and down the hill! We ate breakfast at the hotel and it was very good and reasonably priced. I didn't like that the sink was in the same room as the bathroom because it makes it inconvenient for multiple guests, but let's face it, we were only there to sleep after exorcising our gambling demons! The room had curtains that kept it very dark,so I was able to sleep in. There was also a balcony to sit on. I would recommend it to anyone visiting the casino from a surrounding area.
“Would not stay here again!”
We have come to expect coffee, microwave, & frig. Coffee being the most important but this hotel being somewhat connected to a casino required using their cafes, etc. The towels were so rough it was uncomfortable using them. The ice machine was located a great distance from our room. This is partly my fault for not researching this hotel. It was a little difficult to find also. Be aware this hotel furnishes the bare minimum.
“Had a great time”
The price of the room was great, nice to sit on the patio and look at the mountains, people were friendly, the TV's need to be updated but if your out to have fun you will not be spending much time in the room, the casino is right up the hill with shuttle service that will pick you up right at your door, for a good get-away I would recommend the lodge to anyone.
“very impressed”
This was a mothers day surprise for my 77 yr old mom and we were very happy with the wait staff in the Gathering Restaurant for playing along with us to make this a surprise. Only disappointment was the shuttle from hotelroom to casino. Was told shuttle would pick me up with in minutes. After waiting 20 minutes after walking to front desk was told shuttle was off property and would be addl 15 minutes. Ended up walking from hotel to casino. This was somewhat inconvenient as their were no sidewalks so had to walk in road with traffic.
“Your price was right and everything was fine.”
Np problem with this hotel. Will go back on our way through.
“Nice and clean room”
Nice and clean room with shuttle service to the casino nearby
“surprised”
I make 2 to 3 trips a year to camp verde for bussiness. I have allways stayed at prescott making the 45 minute drive to camp verde everyday. This time I decided to stay at the cliff castle hotel. the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and smelled good. The only thing was the ice machines were far away and they do not have refridgerators in the room. Other then that the stay was pleasant.
“Great location.”
Great central location if you're coming from Phoenix to see the sites in North and Central Arizona. We enjoyed our time at the Lodge which also had a marvelous restaurant inside - much to our surprise. Less than an hour to Flagstaff where lodging is more expensive and often not available. Lots to see and do in the area. Felt very safe in this area.
