“Desert Quail Inn - just right”
We just wanted a place to sleep during our stay in Sedona. I found the Desert Quail Inn to be perfectly fine. It does not offer much in the form of amenities, but the price and quality of the hotel were just about right. I found the hotel to be clean, friendly, and hospitable. Plus, they offer 10 pet-friendly rooms. Thank you for helping make our stay in Sedona to be a perfect vacation.
“A little hard to fiind in the lower villagfe but would be back anytime”
You have to go through Sedona to lower village but the motel and surroundings are very fine. convenient to resturants - the near by Red Rock Cafe serves a fabtastic breakfast. tremendous veiw in area and easy 6 mile trip to main part of Sedona.! Keeo going on 179 even though it looks like you are out of town and then you hit the lower village.
“Great Little Hotel”
Very clean and close to Sedona area. Nice helpful staff.
“Will stay here again!”
Everything was as I expected. No issue's! It was nice, clean & I had no problems when checking in or out. I brought my dog with me & this is a very friendly pet hotel. It was about a 5-10 drive to Uptown Sedona & just a short drive to hiking trails (right down the street). The price it excellent for the location & type of hotel this is. I will stay here again!
“Nothing great”
Motel was "OK" at best. The remote for the TV didn't work. Luckily, there was a store next door where I bought batteries for the remote, only to find out the remote was not compatible with the TV. A little picky, but details are important on a vacation.
“Great Place to Stay”
I have gone to Sedona many times. On this last trip I decided at the last minute to spend New Years In Sedona. So I had only a few options of hotels that were not booked. I was very suprised with this hotel. I have paid more at other hotels, and didn't receive the treatment I did at the Desert Quail. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the staff were all great! The location is perfect! I have not one complaint, and I highly recommend this Motel! I'm most likely headed back to Sedona in May, and I will stay here again!
“It was nice”
Unfortunately we were only able to stay in this hotel for one evening, so my review can't say a whole lot about the service of the hotel. One important thing to know: This hotel is at least 15 minutes outside of Sedona! It is in a town called Oak Creek. Although the hotel is directly across the street from an outlet mall, and oak creek seems like a nice town, if you want to stay directly in Sedona, this is not the hotel for you.
“Okay but nothing to speak of.”
For a hotel in Sedona, I guess it was okay for the money if booking last minute but it is out of the way of the things I was looking to do. I've stayed in another hotel which was actually in Sedona, had friendly staff and better accommodations. The quality of service was barely adequate. I do not think I would stay at this particular hotel again unless there were no other choices.
“very disappointed”
Although the sheets and towels were clean, the furniture had a layer of grime on it. It obviously hadn't been cleaned in months or ever. I left the hotel 2 days early and they refused to refund me the $170. they owe me. I think that is probably illegal.
