Beautiful, peaceful setting.

Posted Nov 4, 2014
Pros: Oak Creek setting, fireplace.
Cons: Cafe hours. Carpets were soiled -- would suggest switching over to hardwood.
Location: Approximately a 15 minute drive into Sedona, through beautiful terrain. Hiking, fishing right off the property. As for Sedona...magical!
Arrived on a Sunday afternoon for a 3-day stay only to learn that the cafe closed at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday and didn't reopen again until Wednesday @ 0800 -- the morning of my departure. I hadn't planned to have to venture into Sedona for each and every meal. I did have a full kitchen but, heck, I was on vacation and didn't feel much like cooking. The plus was the daily delivery of firewood, so I could sit and enjoy a crackling fire every evening. I would recommend this hotel but make sure to time a visit that coincides with the Cafe hours.

Very comfortable & well situated

Posted Oct 21, 2014
Pros: Very friendly people, very comfortable unit, LOVED the fireplace. We also liked the outdoor space, the great water pressure and the quiet setting.
Cons: There were several squeaky doors, the staircase up to the loft was somewhat treacherous, and the towel service could have been better.
Location: We were about 10 miles north of Sedona's center, and it was very well situated for going either north or south.
We were very happy with the accomodations -- the people, the space, and the location of the resort all met our expectations. We couldn't have enjoyed it more!

A Lovely Retreat

Posted Oct 15, 2014
Pros: Location, comfort, beautiful views, staff, nightly fires, option to eat inside or outside on the balcony. It truly felt like a home away from home.
Cons: The wireless service was intermittent but I only had to send/receive one important e-mail concerning flight arrangements so it didn't matter greatly.
Location: Sedona sights, great food, fabulous hiking. The West Fork trail is a must and it is only minutes away from the resort.
Stayed at Junipine for a week. Staff was extremely accommodating, consistently helpful and informative. All rooms were large and very comfortable. The condo was well outfitted so we were able to make breakfast, lunch or dinner there quite easily. The balcony, too was quite large so that if one wanted to quietly read while others sat at the table, one could do so. The view was gorgeous and the resort itself is nestled into the very picturesque Oak Creek. The cafe also served and excellent breakfast which was quite reasonably priced. The resort is a 10 minute drive from Sedona and a 14 minute drive to Flagstaff so we were very pleased with its location. We settled in the first day and it was wonderful to return 'home' after a day of hiking/sightseeing. Will definitely stay here again the next time I visit the Sedona area.

Great Resort just outside of Sedona

Posted Oct 13, 2014
This was a great place to stay just outside of Sedona. The unit we were in looked to be recently updated. It was very clean and had many of the comforts of home. The food in the cafe was delicious. The staff at the was very friendly and helpful.

Condo Resort--Excellent Setting

Posted Sep 22, 2014
Pros: Remote location, creek, condo facility.
Cons: Master bedroom shower.
The facility is aging but has been kept up well. Very comfortable accommodations and bedding. We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and the food was excellent. The lack of air conditioning was not a factor as we visited in late September when the nights were cool. My wife did not care for the master bedroom shower as it did not have a door and she had trouble staying warm even under the hot water. However, we understand there are different facilities in each condo so perhaps others have an enclosed shower or tub. Junipine is about eight miles north of Sedona so it is close enough to easily access the downtown, but far enough away so that you feel you are in a remote location. Our unit was high above the creek so there was no immediate access, but sitting out on the deck listening to the rushing water was a real treat. We plan to come back and stay at Junipine again, hopefully with friends.

Amazing experience

Posted Sep 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
This wasn't what I expected. I didn't know it was going to be a full size condo in a beautiful canyon. Everything was thoroughly modern from the kitchen to the bathroom and everywhere in between. The large deck area outside the living room and bedroom overlooked a nice river. Looking up, the mountains. I can't wait to come back.

A beautiful quiet setting

We were very happy with our stay at the Junipine Resort. It is in a beautiful setting in the woods north of Sedona(about 8 miles). We were amongst trees, a stream and the beautiful red and white cliffs and mountains of Sedona. It was a beautiful stay.

Great rustic hideawy!!

Posted Aug 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
The pictures on this site cannot possibly do justice for the real beauty of the area! it is a few miles outside of Sedona, but if you want true rustic beauty, you must stay here. The staff is friendly, the surrounding forrest was beautiful and the cabin/hotel room was very well kept. The creek was peaceful, but we couldn't walk the trail due to the recent fire in the area, but clean up crews are working diligently to get all area back in shape(this didn't take away from the beauty of the grounds!) This place is wonderful, check it out :)

I can't think of a single thing that would have made the stay better. When was the last time you heard that?
