Oasis in the woods, so close to the desert!

Posted May 26, 2015
I didn't expect the resort to be so shaded, cool and completely different than the resorts in Sedona with cool forest pathways and a stream to walk by. Lovely units, and just a few short miles to the Red Rock trails and gorgeous views of Sedona! Lovely staff, restaurant limited hours so we didn't try it. But close to Sedona and less than 30 min from Flagstaff

Amazing creek view. Enjoyed the patio overlooking the creek and the breathtaking Sedona view. The fireplace in the living room and bedroom added to our peaceful and relaxing stay. Can't wait to go back!

Beautiful setting

Pros: Rooms were big - loved the fireplace in the bedroom
Location: Grand Canyon is 2 1/2 hours away, Flagstaff less than an hour, Sedona 20 minutes, Slide Rock State Park about 3 minutes away
Beautiful area away from the busy streets of Sedona, if you are looking for some peace and quiet.

Home away from home

Posted Mar 18, 2015
Pros: The Area, its so close to the mountains with many trails even camp grounds.
Cons: A safe in every room. My girlfriend had some very expensive jewelry, and it feels a bit uneasy not having it in a safe.
Location: Hiking trails, Camping, Oak Creek, gorgeous mountains, off road trails, mountain bike trails, Sedona tourist attractions.
A home away from home in the mountains. So close to oak creek, I was tempted to jump in. The solitude was exactly what I needed. The view was breath taking Definitely coming back with more family to enjoy the great out doors.

Very nice, rustic hotel. Clean and comfortable but not much fluff. Needs updating. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Creek on the property was a plus.

We had a beautiful view off of our very large patio. The facility is very quiet and we enjoyed having the restaurant available for our evening meals.

Better than we expected.

We wanted to see the Grand Canyon and decided to book a place a short distance away. We were happily surprised at the woodsy cozy feel of our unit. Wood burning fireplace in two rooms with firewood supplied, back deck overlooking the creek, and large custom shower all made for a comfortable cozy stay. We didn't want to leave!
