Very decent hotel

My wife and I liked very much because is nice, and because is close to tatlepalque and galleries and restaurants, it is close to everything.

Great resort with all the trimmings

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Everything
Location: Amazing location in a magical place. Bring your hiking boots.
Not too many hotels let you walk anywhere in Sedona. This is right next door to Tlaquepaque and walkable to galleries, restaurants. Our suite had everything we needed; we could live there! Plus there were non-stop activities for kids AND grown-ups. Terrific fitness options too. We were blown away by the food at the restaurant onsite: Tomi Just be forewarned: they WILL try and sell you on the timeshare. The 90-minute presentation is avoidable.

One night get away

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Grounds are kept nice and room was great.
Cons: I slept on the pull out couch bed and it was the most uncomfortable bed I had ever "attempted" to sleep on.
Location: Great location with shopping and dinning within walking distance.
Good experience. Close to shopping and dinning. The staff was pleasant and the hotel was very busy with travelers. The room was very nice.

Rude and overpriced

Overall atmosphere in this place is very stiff. Fake staff. Room was very old with spots on the couch but functional full kitchen.

Thank you very much for the valuable feedback. First of all, please allow us to apologize for the “stiff” of “fake staff” feeling you received from our team members. We strive to be open, fun and welcoming to all of our guests. As for the rooms, we are in the process of upgrading all of our rooms over a three year period. The first 50 were completed this past February.

Great location, friendly staff

The rooms were very outdated not what I expected from the exterior and hotel lobby.

Good stay, good price

Posted Jun 25, 2014
Pros: GREAT HOTEL FOR A GREAT PRICE. Definitely worth the money.
Cons: Hotel staff wasn't the friendliest for the high class hotel.
Location: LOTS to do, I love Sedona. Slide rock, oak creek brewery in the parking lot, and tons of great bars around.
This has nothing to do with Expedia, Expedia was great to us and the transaction was smooth. Expedia REFUNDED our $ and made us happy due to this issue, THANK YOU EXPEDIA. The hotel was very nice and would have totally been worth it if they didn't totally mess it up. (I blame the front desk lady, not the hotel) We checked in and put our stuff in the room, we left for a bit and came back and our room was given to someone else. Our luggage was taken to front desk by hotel staff. Turns out the people who took our room went through our stuff "looking for an ID" to see who's stuff it was which was completely WRONG of them to do. They should have turned around and walked out of the room and told front desk they needed different room...the people stole something from us too. To top it off we were sent 2 bldgs down from our friends when we asked to be in same bldg and when this issue happened they got us right below our friends...how convenient. we checked out and left a cell phone charger, the housekeeper took it because we looked everywhere. The hotel gave us a gift card and a bottle of wine. Other than that issue, the hotel was clean and the jacuzzi was hot. GREAT HOTEL FOR A GREAT PRICE.

Pros: Clean looks more like a Mexican village.
Cons: The pool was out of service the only night we were there those thing happens I guess
Location: Many restaurants, near some of the National Parks
Close to the Tlaquepaque arts nad crafts village. Couple of good restaurants, at René I had my best Gaspacho ever, fresh and tasty.

check-in and check out times.

Posted Jun 17, 2014
Pros: The grounds are nicely kept and our room was in a nice location.
Cons: Get rid of the rigid rules on in and out times. If rooms are available I should be able to get in. It doesn't take 6 hours to clean rooms.
Location: Location is good, but not good enough for the price and the crap.
A 4pm check-in and a 10 am check-out is unreasonable. We believe our room was available before 4pm but we were not permitted to have the room. We checked in at the desk at about 2pm.

Beautiful grounds and friendly staff.

Only concern: asked for creamer and never got it for my coffee. Also, cleaning staff didn't speak English.

Good Central Place to Stay

Posted Jun 13, 2014
Pros: Most everything was very nice.
Cons: The facility is getting a little older, but it is in good repair. May need some updating of bathrooms.
Location: Very centrally located and so close to older town and not far from most recreational activities. Many activities can be done right on the property.
I enjoyed the mature vegetation on the hotel grounds and gardens. It is green and very attractive. The hotel staff are some of the best that I have worked with. They were friendly, helpful, and efficient. Nice place to stay.
