Excellent HotelPosted Aug 22, 2014
Cons: I can't think of a thing.
Location: At the north end of Sedona, but a short drive. to restaurants and shops.
Stayed in a very comfortable suite. Beds were comfortable, towels thick (not thin motel towels). The breakfast was excellent, and the lady who took care of the dining area was friendly, took good care of the area (even to cleaning off the chairs). The concierge lady was extremely helpful to us. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again. The staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating.

Perfect location!Posted Aug 22, 2014
Location: Excellent location
Convenient, friendly staff, clean room, comfy bed, good breakfast, although we got the remnants of the eggs. They were ok, but we should have waited for a fresh batch, but we needed to be on our way.

Not worth it.Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Staff was excellent
Cons: Advertising the correct rooms, Breakfasts were lousy. Replace AC units with less obnoxious units. Adjust cost of the small rooms to reflect size.
Location: Its Sedona, there is a lot of out-doors stuff to do, and their main street has a lot of unique shopping.
Staff was great, the rest of the place not so much. The pictures of the place make the rooms seem huge, and for the price paid, they should have been. We didn't realize when booking that there is a distinct difference from the Inn and the Suite portion of the hotel. All pictures of the hotel are of the suites, not the Inn's apparently. We booked thinking we were getting a room with a fireplace, whirlpool tub, and large floorplan. What we got was a Motel 6'esque room. You basically tripped over the bed when you first walked in. Once past the bed, you immediately could see into the restroom portion of the room. The room was so small, that whomever was in the restroom could see whomever was on the bed. You could not fit two people comfortably around the sink area, so turns were required to get ready in the mornings. Worst of all, was the portable AC unit mounted above the window. It was extremely loud, and struggled to keep the small room at temperature. Every time it kicked on, the thermostat would make a loud click, then the unit would click. Once it fired up, it made a sound that sounded like someone bumping our door, and using a decibel meter on my phone, it registered at 75 decibels. Whichs is the average sound of a dishwasher machine.

Sedona StayPosted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: The staff was very helpful with a positive attitude. The breakfast seating area was comfortable. The rooms were clean and well appointed.
We traveled to Sedona for the hummingbird festival and stayed at the Sedona Real for three nights. We all enjoyed our stay. A good motel for families and close to many services.

Nice Hotel but room dark and pool smallPosted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: Good breakfast was provided and people who worked there were very nice and accommodating.
Cons: Do not know how the problem of the dark rooms could be fixed without major architectural changes.
Location: The location was good and most things to do in Sedona are close enough that there is not a problem with distance.
Our room was under a roof in an outdoor "hall" and therefore the window was not able to give us hardly any normal light plus we had to keep the drape closed because passer-byes could look right in on us. The pool seemed small for the amount of people who were staying at the hotel. Other than those things, everything was good.

Large suite refreshing.Posted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: Everything, for the price I paid I was more than satisfied.
Cons: Maybe a couple more umbrellas around the pool.
Location: Short drive to uptown for great restaurants. Great restaurants nearby. Most attractions are close to town and the view was incredible from anywhere.
Stayed for three nights with family including two teenagers. It was so nice to have space in our room to sit and relax and not have everyone crammed onto a bed. The pool was a great way to end a busy day exploring Sedona and the included breakfast was excellent as well.
