Great Hotel with Good Location

Posted Apr 21, 2014
Pros: Great bathroom with HUGE showers. Very clean property and very cozy! The restaurant on the property is also great!
Cons: The AC unit in the room was a little tricky to figure out, but it could easily be overlooked when I was sinking into the very good bed.
Location: Easy access to hiking and mountain bike trails.
The purpose of our trip was to hike, ride mountain bikes and relax. The property is located away from the congested uptown area which was nice. We were much closer to a lot of the good hiking and riding trails which was also a plus. The spa was fantastic and the staff was always attentive.

Just Okay.............

Pros: The bed and the fireplace.
Cons: Bathrooms, pool area, lobby, and all common areas.
Location: Its not too far away from downtown; however its located close enough if you have a rent-a-car to enjoy all that Sedona has to offer.
The pictures are a little deceiving compared to the website. $230/night was definitely not priced for the money. There is nothing much to this hotel; however the alternatives in the area aren't that up to par either. I think the hotel is trying to be perceived something that it is not. Its just a little more decorative Holiday Inn. Amenities are average. We got the suite with the Mountain View and fireplace and it was okay. The only thing I didn't like about the room was the bathrooms. There is nothing special with the hotel and I would say it should be around $179/night hotel; however they probably benefit from the lack of competition. If I were to do it again, I would probably stay at the Hyatt.

Nice hotel off of 89A...close to downtown Sedona.

Pleasant two night stay with meals on sight. Though close to 89A, there was no sound of traffic going by.

Loved the hotel

Posted Apr 6, 2014
The views from the hotel were wonderful...the bed was very comfortable and the shower (with the raishower head) was awesome. We ate at Red's a few times and the food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. Would definitely go back. The staff at both the hotel and restaruant went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and memorable.

Quiet room with jetted tub

Posted Mar 25, 2014
Stayed in the king spa room which had a jetted tub and a nice view of the mountains. The room has multiple AC/heat systems so the rooms can be different temperatures. The room was clean and the toiletries were nice (local and aromatherapy). The staff was friendly. I would definitely go back again.

Located next to a Safeway grocery store

Hotel seemed really over priced...it was okay, but doesn't have direct views of the rocks and is located way out of town next to a strip mall. For $50 more a night, you can stay at a resort in town with gorgeous views. Disappointing.

Spent two nights. Very enjoyable.

Would be nice if the fitness facility was updated with newer weight lifting equipment, otherwise excellent overall experience

Just 1 small thing

Posted Mar 17, 2014
Pros: Location, layout of the hotel and our room was very nice
Cons: nothing
Location: We liked that it was away from the center of town, but a very easy drive. We were only there overnight and went on a Pink Jeep tour.
the dining room was closed Sunday evening, but the bar was open and we could get something to eat. Your manager of the bar explained to us the reason and we were very happy with her response and her friendly attitude, so it wasn't a big deal. I think her name was Diana, very wonderful person.

Nice hotel

Posted Mar 5, 2014
Cons: Provide tourist brochures in the room, be more specific about what's complimentary (ie. bottles of water in the fridge)
Location: Nice location, close to highway yet you don't hear the traffic in the room.
Very convenient to local restaurants, tourist attractions.
