Pros: Courteous, friendly and professional staff, nicely appointed, excellent food in restaurant, top notch chef, good room with a view of the mountain, etc
Cons: Room temperature controller difficult to use
Location: Well located for easy access to restaurants, shopping, excursions and viewing sights
Sedona Rouge Hotel and Spa, especially the professional and friendly staff, reflected the best in the hospitality business in our experience.

Great Mini Vacation

Location: Trails, shopping, food, jeep tours, quad ridding
Me and my partner had so much fun! It was so nice and relaxing, we couldn't ask for a better birthday weekend! I thought it was awesome that the staff acted on a special favor for a birthday surprise set up in the room! They were great! The resort fee I thought was paid through Expedia but guess not ran about $50, little blah by that but no big deal I guess! Reds was yummy for the most part a tad bit over priced but nice to go and enjoy appetizers and wine.when you don't feel like traveling! I loved the location your on I 89A so basically everything's right in that vivacity! The pool and spa where great, fitness room decent! I enjoyed my stay very much, I am happy with this resort and definitely will stay there again!

Hotel had good features and not so good features. Price was too high for level of amenities. Hotel is in the middle of town and so would be good as a place to stage an active vacation but price was high for that. Room and hotel amenities didn't come up to level of expectation for a luxury hotel. Restaurant was rated well and had a decent menu but good wasn't very flavorful. We had room service breakfasts four times and food was good but inconsistent. The best thing was it showed up quickly. Room had a good view of Thunder Mountain, and construction in the back but that won't last forever. Room felt small, bedding didn't seem premium, not enough outlets in room, bathroom wasn't too accommodating. We had a room in the spa section but in the end didn't take advantage of the spa itself. Very solid at a lower price point.

Pros: In Sedona.
Cons: General condition of hotel. And the price.
Location: Great hiking and sunsets.
The "hotel and spa" is more like a motel. It's on the highway. There are no views. The hotel is rundown in part. I thought it was very expensive for what was offered.

Stay away during expansion

Expansion completely ruined our stay - it blocks the view entirely. Doors close really loudly, weird shower door allows water all over the bathroom floor. Staff is really slow to respond to requests; my feather free prenotification was ignored and our room had to be fixed twice. Rooms are comfortable and the spa is awesome. We had only the 2nd worst view - the side yard - the parking lot and 89a would have been worse, I suppose.

Dissapointing stay @ highly acclaimed Sedona Rouge

Pros: The food, staff and service at Reds Restaurant.
Cons: Management, the staffs knowledge of services and consideration for guests who are paying high dollars for first rate hotel stays.
Location: Beautiful location with many other equally or better hotels nearby. Also, uptown Sedona was only minutes away. Restaurant selections were slim.
The hotel was under renovation; an inconvenience that was not revealed until check-in our room when we found a flyer on our bed pillow. The staff was not the least bit friendly, knowledgeable about services nor intrested in us because as they stated " you booked with Expedia." The restaurant Reds was wonderful however. . . stay somewhere else where they have a staff of massage therapists so you can book the services the hotel claims to offer. Our bookings were always pending them contacting a therapist and that only allowed for 1 massage over a 4 day period.

Pros: The staff was very friendly, and helpful. The restaurant/ lounge was lovely, and the food was very good.
Location: Let the concierge tell you. He was just wonderful. He arranged a tour for us, provided us a map for a day excursion on our own, and was very friendly
It was a pleasant surprise... to be expecting a bit of construction noise, a fact I had been made aware of when booking, but as it turned out, we heard almost nothing, and it did not detract from enjoying our stay.
