This hotel was the best we stayed in during our Arizona holiday. Full of character, homely, coffee on-tap, and the service was incredibly helpful, friendly and personal. Our initial room was a bit disappointing in that it overlooked the road and had no balcony. But the hotel moved us to one of the beautiful rooms overlooking the creek and with a balcony when one became available.

Nice small Inn walking distance to shops & eatery

Posted Jan 7, 2015
Location of this Inn was very nice and the innkeeper was very friendly and made us feel right at home. Everything was great except the heater in the room. The remote control of heater/air conditioner didn't work properly and we were so cold in the room during our stay after Christmas day in freezing temperature.

Warm welcome from the hotel owner on arrival, whom helped us map out our hike for the next day and gave us a tour of the property. Room was fantastic, overlooking the creek, clean and well furnished. We'll be returning.

Loved This Place -- It's Our New Sedona "Home"

Posted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: This inn is physically beautiful. Large rooms with balconies, views and a fireplace. The nearness to quality restaurants and hiking.
Cons: This Inn is so superior I can't think of anything to improve!
Location: Sedona is filled with activities and there are many seasonal festivals. We particularly like the "Festival of Lilghts" at Tlaquepaque in mid-December
From the moment we checked in we knew that this was not going to be a routine motel experience. We were personally expected by Amber, the receptionist who was wonderful. We had Room One, just off the lobby and the convenience to the additional comfort of the lobby with the morning continental breakfast (more than sufficient) was great. Coffee and tea were always available. Our views from our balcony of the woods, creek and mountains were extraordinary. The ducks on the creek below us were an added treat. . The nearness to Tlaquepaque was a very important feature--just a quick 3-5 minute walk without crossing a street. We ate at Rene', a great French restaurant, the Secret Garden for a splendid breakfast, and at the Oak Creek Grill which had nicely priced and interesting menu. To round out our happy experience, I had foolishly left a light on in my car and had a dead battery. No problem -- the owner himself helped me get a battery "jump".

A Must Place to Stay in Sedona

Posted Sep 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
From the front it looks like any plain Inn but once inside it is far from plain. Rooms are beautiful, staff are very nice and make you feel at home, patios and views are spectacular, very reasonable rates, and a whirlpool in the room to relax at the end of a wonderful day in Sedona. Been traveling in the states as well as in several countries and this is by far the best stay of all the places we have been. Don't miss out!
