A conveniently placed hotel, full of character

Posted Jun 4, 2015
Pros: A very comfortable ideally situated hotel within an easy walk of the town centre. The staff were friendly and helpful, with good command of English
Segovia is an interesting and historic town - the aqueduct is definitely a sight not to be missed. This hotel is ideally situated for visiting both the town centre with its variety of shops and restaurants and the historical sights. The hotel is very comfortable and well maintained. The dining room, bar and lounge areas were well appointed and spacious. Breakfast was more than adequate and they did accommodate our 'gluten free' diet. There was ample car parking both at the hotel and in the street outside.

Great place to stay

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: Nice atmosphere and freindly helpful staff
Cons: If anything the english explanations in the restaurant could be improved - but hey I'm in Spain so not a real issue!
Location: Great place to stay - the walk into centro Segovia is brilliant following the Aquaduct all the way - loved it!!
What a great place to stay. We stayed in a standard room that whilst not big were certainly comfortable. A lovely hotel set in an old monastery with lots of history. Staff were great, friendly and helpful and on reception spoke perfect English. The hotel was great for parking with plenty of free spaces available in their grounds. Being slightly out of the centre it was quiet and comfortable. The lounge bar area was pleasant to relax in and you could even sit outside in an ancient courtyard that was once part of the monastery. Location was perfect – the walk into centro was wonderful following the aquaduct along its full length with it getting higher and higher. The centre of Segovia was easy to walk around with many wonderful views – what a great place. The restaurant in the hotel was rated No1 on trip advisor – so expectations were high. However I would rate it as good – whilst not outstanding. Like most tourist I tried the suckling pig which they are famous for in Segovia – whilst nice and tender it would have been better if some vegetables or salad was provided with it. All in all this is a great place to stay – we would certainly stay in this hotel again if we have the opportunity to return to Segovia.

Excellent

Excellent location and accessible to old town

Posted Apr 1, 2015
Just off the acueducto, it's a three minute walk to the city walls, and some of the best cochinillo at Candidos. Old monastery converted to a hotel. Free parking out side, gotta pay if you park in underground. Friendly staff and lovely amenities,

Sehr gute Wahl
