“Restaurant”
The room was great but the service in the restaurant was disappointing. Some of the staff were very unhelpful to the point of rudeness and in the end we cut short our meal. The food was fine.
“Not overly impressed”
The Campanile Dieppe hotel was...OK. The room was not as clean as the Campanile in Calais, but cleaner than the hotel we had in Paris. By next year the mildew problem will be that, a problem. The television worked well, nothing was missing (towels, soap etc.)but the bathroom was cheap. The toilet required 2 or 3 flushes to get rid of it all, and the shower area was in wallboard with the joints not sealed and the the plastic laminate on these boards already lifting. Mildew was prevalent in the bathroom but mostly in the sleeping quarters, above the window. Service at the restaurant was less than adequate, we ate there twice and twice did not get what we ordered. This may sound like a pretty severe critic, but we have had worse. All and all, this is a low scoring two star hotel
