Excellent, but basic
Basic hotel but comfotable. An excellent stop over for our journey through France. Room was a bit tight when the pull-out bed was in place. Will definitely be stopping here again!!

Good overnight stop.
It’s a good pet-friendly place to stop for the night when travelling and wish to avoid the traffic in the centre of Rouen.

The lady was nice and that’s it. Our room was number 8, I can’t believe that Expedia has a 3 star and is not even a 1 star. The room smelled like wet dog and there were mold in the wall and bathtub. Told the guy in charge and he said sorry. This is not a hotel, it’s a motel for animals not humans. We are traveling all over Europe and this was the worst I have seen yet. Do not go there all the ratings are fake, and lies. I know those people did not stay at this hotel. Please don’t risk it

ice hotel for an overnight on the way to Dieppe.
The hotel rooms are a bit tired in terms of decor (woodchip or Artex on walls and ceilings), but the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was fine. It was a good place to stop en route for Dieppe. We had an evening meal and breakfast at the restaurant and really enjoyed the food. We travelled with our elderly dog, who was very ill by the time we got there. I would have preferred a ground floor room, as the exterior concrete spiral staircase was tricky to manage with her. I didn’t like to ask for a ground floor room when we arrived, The staff were pleasant and helpful. We are a couple travelling with an adult son and daughter, so appreciated the twin room arrangement.

You can always trust Campaniles ..
The hotel was fine, I very often choose the Campanile hotels .. but this one was actually a lot further from Rouen than I had thought .. which wasn't good.

Got logged in quickly. Menu all in French, almost none of which I understand. Room was cool and heat-pump put out almost no warm air no matter the setting. Brought long johns which I DID wear. Only tourist information found was a Rouen map I happened to see in restaurant and picked up. Staff speaks enough English to be very helpful.

Great stop for a night
Another great spot to spend one night. A/C was an issue but that may have to do with the time of year that was warmer than usual. Maybe A/C isn’t activated until June?? Not sure.

Don't eat there!!!
Hotel fine, served a purpose for an overnight stop. Restaurant awful, won't never eating there again on a further visit. Roast chicken microwaved to within an inch of its life and overall very poor food especially for the price. Plenty of others fiod outlets close by.

A good stop over hotel en route to the ferries. Lovely friendly staff, good value food , we ate both dinner and breakfast in their restaurant, room as you'd expect for a Campanile, clean, good beds and good overall condition. Only hiccup guests arriving through the night and wheeling suitcases along the veranda but otherwise quiet for such a busy location.

THE STAFF ARE THE KEY
So much , when visiting any hotel depends upon the welcome and attention you get from the staff. We encountered two both young women and both superb . The lady on reception could not have been nicer and more helpful , a real gem . Engaging and pleasant , friendly and interested without being invasive . Our waitress in the evening was also lovely . A thoroughly lovely experience , the hotel was fine ,( pillows were lumpy and hard ), this a minor problem in the scheme of things . Campanile hotels are a part of a large group and you know what to expect the difference with this one was the staff , and what a difference that makes . A little effort transforms the experience . Well done and thank you.

A nights stop over but what a good hotel. Although in the older style I found I preferred this to the newer upgraded hotels. Food was acceptable and the staff very good with good english.

Super welcome by lady on reception. room std motel style on 1st floor very clean & everything in good working order. buffet 2 course evening meal @ €17.50/head was great & included free glass of excellent gazpacho.

The hotel did what it said on the Tin so to speak, standard room, location just a little wide and could be sign posted a bit more to find it. but it fitted our needs for the next day of 5hours drive to feel refreshed & ready to go

One night on the way home
This hotel is in the middle of a trading estate. It is quiet, no night traffic, very clean and ideal for a one night stop off. We were heading for Calais. The food in the restaurant was good value and although not 'hot cooking' perfectly OK for a simple supper and the wine was good. Carrefour is just across the way and there are several restaurants near by. The staff were helpful. We nearly got involved in a Weight Watchers session but fortunately managed to escape before they signed us up. An ideal place to stop and have a good nights sleep, pick up your supermarket shopping before heading off on the motorway which is just nearby. It is very good value for money. If you cannot manage stairs you will need to tell them when you book.

Calais Stop Over
Our SatNav got us to Barentin no trouble, however, it did not direct us to the hotel. Suggest literature mentions close proximity to the Carrefour Superstore as an additional guide. Hotel facilities were clean, tidy and operational. Staff were very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. We had dinner in the restaurant and found it to be very good quality and value for money, particularly the buffett sweet option. First class desserts of all descriptions, a treat indeed. Restaurant staff were delightful, just the right balance between informative guidance re: menu options and attentive enquiry that all was well. In summary, if you want a stop over on the way to/from Calais to/from the the west this facility, from our experience, will serve you well.

Reassuringly "Campanille"
We always use Campanille hotels when travelling through France. After a long, hot and slow journey the green sign was so welcoming. As always comfortable beds, endless hot water, very helpful reception staff and a surprisingly good glass of wine. Will we use Campanile again? Of course we will. Even though this particular hotel is somewhat dated, it was all immaculately clean and tidy - and a great magazine rack in reception.

This was an overnight stop on the way to Brittany. It is a typical Campanille with a warm welcome from the jovial host. Conveniently located and quiet surroundings. We didn't use the restaurant and we did have some trouble finding the place as it wasn't particularly well signposted.
