The hotel was amazing but what made it better was its attitude to bringing pets.

Perfect for a relaxing getawayPosted Oct 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed at this Hotel in October 2103 for 3 nights. We asked for team amking facilities in the room which were provided without quibble and the teas provided were fantastic. The hotel pool, sauna, steam room gym were fantastic. Breakfast was good if not the best ever, but still gave you a good choice of full continental - breads, cheese, meats, pastries, yougurts, juice, coffee etc but also eggs, saussaages, toast so was filling. Location - you could not ask for better. Local restaurants and shops were fantastic. Planned to go to Giverney hence the visit to Rouen but did not botehr as we were so relaxed and chilled in this hotel. Staff for us were most helpful. The only negative would be the Brasserie which was just that and not what one would expect for 5 stars and also it had very little natural light which with the ultra modern Black and red colour scheme made it a little too enclosed. Would definatley return !!

Beautiful hotel in the centre of RouenPosted Oct 17, 2013
We were blown away by the level of service, the hotel was a beautiful period conversion, the staff were so helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Location wise you are in the heart of Rouen close to some lovely boutique shops, cafes and restaurants. We would absolutely love to stay there again.

Exquisite, friendly hotel in a perfect location.Posted Aug 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
If you want to drive south from Calais and avoid Paris, Rouen is the perfect place to stop. You will usually end up getting stuck in traffic there anyway, so it's best to turn the situation to your advantage and stay here for a night or three. This is a beautiful hotel in the middle of an interesting town with delightful staff, a tremendous swimming pool and a mixture of modern and historic rooms. I often get mildly irritated by upmarket French hotels, which often impose a series of bizarre and arbitrary rules - and which tend to spend the money on appearances rather than service. Here you get French surroundings and American standards of service. It's a pretty good combination.

Great hotel...Posted Jul 28, 2013
Amazing building, very accommodating for our pet dog and extremely attentive staff throughout. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. Brasserie food very good. Have already booked again for another night on our return through France!
