Great stay

Posted Sep 8, 2011 on Hotels.com
I stayed only for one night but I enjoyed it. The service was very good, the personnel very friendly, the breakfast very good and suficiant and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Only thing I saw I did not like was a small amount of moist in the shower between the tiles. Otherwise the whole bathroom was very clean and modern.

A Monet experience

Posted Jun 21, 2009 on Hotels.com
On the outskirts of Le Harve, there is not much to distinguish St Adresse other than the Monet pictures of the place. However, this was enough to inspire us to take a three day stay in this hotel. On arrival, one of the workman doing some restoration work told us that we had to collect our key from the sister hotel 200 yards down the hill. Other than this minor inconvenience, our stay in a basic standard room was perfect. The room was well appointed with a brand new en-suit shower and toilet (complete with hair dryer), nice view out the window (complete with flower pots on the ledge). We kept on meeting the boss man who very kindly enquired whether everything was ok with us (which it was). The free of street parking is a nice touch. Though we stayed in the annex, but for a bit more dosh you can stay in the elegant 19th century building next door and enjoy see views. St Adress is a hilly little place with plenty of leafy posh apartment blocks and fine old houses. The little church on the hill top overlooking the sea (ND of Flots) is beautiful and has a very pretty little garden attached to it. Also have a walk along the prom that has plagues showing where the Monet pictures were done. The only down side of the place is that there are many places to eat or drink, other than on the way in to Le Harve. Would definitely stay in this hotel again.
