What an amazing experience staying at The Windsor. The room was splendid with a superb view and it was spacious and clean. The receptionist was so cordial and welcoming. Staff was helpful and friendly, one would definitely want to come back to stay here. They made the hotel an essential part of our staycation.

Clean, welcoming and panoramic
Welcoming smaller-scale hotel with the atmosphere of the French hotels I remember from childhood. Very clean room with comfortable bed, wonderful view from the breakfast room and good breakfast to send us on our way. Would have welcomed a tray with kettle, cups etc. although you can collect one free hot drink per person from the machine in the hotel reception area.

Brilliant in every way
The hotel is superb, the evening buffet was actually incredible, I had some trepidation about it but I was blown away. The hotel is clean, tidy and very friendly.

What a lovely stay we had the front of house staff were very lovely . We payed extra for a sea view and i must say was well worth it amazing veiws to wake up to . Breakfast was also very good ... cant wait to come back .. well done the windsor 👏👏

Lovely hotel - perfectly placed on the seafront with a short walk to the shops and marina’s great restaurants. Lots of history to engage with and everything within walking distance.

Good stop over hotel
A well located hotel facing the sea separated by a wide lawned area. We only had a one night stop over but the hotel was clean and comfortable with a good breakfast.

Super Happy with Le Windsor, when we checked out I had accidentally left my Gold ring with my family Coat of arms, they contacted me and they mailed it back to Canada where I received it today. I'm very happy to have stayed there and if I'm in France again, I will certainly stay with them again, Merçi beaucoup Mme Eveline Broekman

Long weekend away in Dieppe
Everything was lovely. Nice little hotel in a great location. The staff were really friendly and the quickest check in i have ever experienced! The room was great and spotlessly clean with a big comfy bed! I would stay there again without a shadow of a doubt and highly recommend it.

Excellent location on the sea front with the harbour just one road behind. Parking can be difficult to find when it's busy but it's easy enough to drive round in a circle waiting for someone to leave. Good balcony with sea view and reasonably priced. Would recommend this location and this hotel.

Old and too expensive
The hotel is Old and overpriced. Small rooms, little comfort. I payed 125€, - 25 extra for a sea view and got a room on the second floor between the balcony from the 3rd foor and the flat roof of the restaurant. You can't even see anything from your bed threw the small window. A discrase the charge extra for that. The staff on the other hand is friendly. Renovate or drop your prices!

Nice hotel. Excellent value.
Great beachfront location and very close to very good bars and restaurants. Clean and comfortable room and very helpful staff. It was a very pleasant overnight stay. It has limited parking in the front as well.

Excellent position. We had an issue on arrival as we had specifically requested a room with a bath and we were told that we would have to pay an extra 10 euros a night to get a bath. We challenged this and eventually were given what we asked for. However the bath situation was not really satisfactory as there was never sufficient hot water for a decent bath.

Small but very comfortable room. Excellent location close to the beach, market, bars and restaurants. Great view over the sea from the hotel restaurant on the first floor. Nice breakfast.

Parked outside the hotel , parking in immediate area very busy . At reception were given our key and although the woman on reception smiled a lot she never asked if we wanted breakfast or if we needed a restaurant reservation at hotel . She simply told us where the lift was , no information or map given of area . Room was small , sea view but looking onto flat roof of restaurant below . 1 sachet of coffee and tea each , no milk . Shower room was adequate. Expensive at 135 Euro but it was in August and had sea view and ideal for where we wanted to be

Check in was good. The front desk staff spoke good English. Parking was a nightmare - took us at least 45 minutes to find somewhere to park. The room was very small and had no air conditioning. The hair blow dryer was also very strange. We didn't eat at the restaurant but instead went to the marina area. This seemed more like a frat/party hotel than what we were expecting. The girl at the front desk told me I over paid and recommended calling the hotel directly for better rates than going through a booking company

Great location by the beach and next to English and Irish bars so fiancé could watch the rugby. Dieppe was a bit closed up in February so we went to Rouen which is gorgeous. Cons- No milk with tea and coffee and only one set of miniature soaps over the weekend. Breakfast is over priced. Pros- Great big bed though and they had CNN and sky sports.

Many thanks for your message. You're right the hotel is old, two buildings are from around 1800 and one is from about 1970, we are trying to marry as good as possible old with modern. We are renovating the rooms bit by bit all the time. The latest renovation was at the beginning of this year. But you cannot discuss the taste of every human being.... That's why we are even happier to see that you did appreciate the service of the hotel. Why don't you try another room next time as none of our rooms are decorated nor disposed the same way, that is just because the hotel is (very)old….:-) In most (very) modern/new hotels all the rooms are exactly the same…. easy to find along beach front
The room was small but very comfortable, the staff very friendly and for an overnight stay before continuing our journey it was good. The breakfast was excellent.

Lovely family run hotel
We had a sea view and were upgraded to a suite. Lovely room, great bathroom but most of all a lovely family run hotel. We were there with a group of cyclists and were made to feel so welcome. The staff were all wonderful, friendly and helpful, Generally couldn't do enough for us on a weekend post Brexit when we were embarrassed to be British! We ate in the restaurant with a group of 100 or more cyclists. The food was absolutely superb, better than the food served at reasonably posh weddings in England. Really lovely food, well cooked, hot and delicious. We will definitely stay again, Hotel Windsor will always be our first choice in Dieppe.

Windsor Hotel Dieppe
Location brilliant, close to town and beach. Restaurant food excellent. Room was clean and well decorated, balcony glass could have done with a clean. That is the only criticism I can come up with

Nice sea view
I paid extra for a sea view, which was good, but the room was very small. The bed was comfortable and the en suite was nice, although the hair drier got very hot to hold.There was a safe, which is always a bonus, and a kettle, which is not always the case in French hotels. Breakfast was extra and was adequate. The hotel doesn't look the best from outside but is mostly ok inside. The Hotel de la plage a couple of doors away looks really nice. Dieppe itself is very run down in places. The castle is worth a visit as there are some wonderful paintings and carved Ivory .

Weekend break
Clean hotel in excellent position for the town. Easy walk from the ferry terminal. Helpful staff. Don't bother with the breakfast, there are shops and cafes just around the corner.
