Great last minute bookingPosted Sep 20, 2013
Pros: Laid back atmosphere, understated facilities, plenty of parking and a smile from staff....
Cons: Was fine for me.
Location: Had a meeting at The Skills Network, so was within walking distance. Had permission to leave the car in the hotel car park, so really convenient.
Helpful staff, quiet and relaxed hotel, great breakfast. Only there a few hours, but woke refreshed, relaxed and ready for a new day. Rooms were similar standard to Premier Inn but slightly bigger. Would I choose to stay again - yes.

Very hot but otherwise good!Posted Aug 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
Clean room with comfortable super, super kingsize bed. However the room was unbelievable hot: opening the windows did not help as the room was located above the kitchens. There was a fan already in the room which moved the hot air around. Outside temperature on that day was 22C by the way.

Very Helpful Staff, shame about the noisy roomPosted Apr 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
I would avoid rooms at the rear of the property, especially at the end near the entrance. There are chiller units at the back with noise problems. I hope the management will fix this soon. That said the night duty quickly responded and helped us move rooms.

Good Location for business or pleasurePosted Apr 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
A pleasant hotel with excellent staff, room was quite large and comfortable, food in the restaurant was average for the price. Beware that the price quoted DOES NOT INCLUDE BREAKFAST, this is shown in small print as a surcharge and easily missed as we did thus we were surprised to have to pay £14.50 extra on what was already an average price for B&B for a hotel of this standard. That apart the staff could not have been more warm and friendly nor could they have been more helpful thereby making our one night stay a pleasant one

Reasonable hotelPosted Feb 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
Nice hotel with reasonable service. Service is actually getting better than a couple of months ego. Rooms are comfortable and reasonable, although they may seem to be a bit dark. May be one of the the best hotels in the area and surrounding region.

A hotel in SelbyPosted Nov 3, 2012 on Hotels.com
Hotel rooms are very clean and well looked after. Quality of service is very good. The lighting in the rooms seem a bit dim but there is a lamp provided on the table for reading. It is a good idea to check the soap content in the bathroom before taking a shower.
