the hotel itself is fine. its a westin.... however, the check in took so long. they appear understaffed. check in is the first part of a persons experience and when it starts off with a long line and waiting over 20 minutes, its a bad start.

A very pleasant stay at the Westin~ The hotel is located at the 26-34/F of a commercial tower, which offers wonderful city view no matter from the lobby or our room! The room is luxurious and spacious - which is quite rare for Japanese hotels. It takes a 10-min walk from Sendai Station and a 15-min walk from the central shopping area Aobadori. But again the pleasant accommodation worths the walk!

I enjoyed a 3-night stay in a comfortable and attractive room with a lovely gold artwork, and fabulous views of the city, river and sea. It was great to have a coffee capsule machine. The table, which couldn’t be moved, was too far from power sockets. Well-equipped bathroom with good bench space. Excellent housekeeping and pleasant staff. Less than 10 minutes walk from the JR station and convenient for all the main sights, or transport to them.

Great place. We were in transit in New Years Eve. Sendai was very quiet with most things shut for the holiday. The Westin was very comfortable.

There was nothing I didn't like. The property is in the Trust Tower and provides a wonderful view of the city and surrounding beauty of Sendai. Great location, very near the station

Way more room than the shoebox Japan hotels
Our stay started with an advantage as they gave us a free upgrade to a superior room. The superior room was amazing, and heaps of space compared to other Japanese hotels - you do get what you pay for and this one was well worth it.

My favourite accommodation in Japan so far. With the lobby on the 26th floor I imagine all rooms would have excellent views. Ours certainly did! The room was very luxurious and spacious - especially for the price - as was the entire hotel. The bed was probably the most comfortable I have ever slept in. All the staff were very courteous and helpful and spoke English very well - a rare commodity in Japan. The smoking lounge was classy and comfortable and had two sets of doors so as not to impact passing non-smokers. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone and will 100% stay there again on my next visit to Sendai.

The room was very spacious and our view was spectacular. The staff cheerfully and promptly delivered ice cubes when we requested it. The staff in the lobby were also very friendly and welcoming. Another big plus was the fitness center which was fairly well equipped. I would certainly stay at this hotel again!

Staff extremely helpful. Property very clean. Good coffee facilities in the room: Nespresso and French Press. Symphony restaurant dinner atmosphere was more business than romantic and while nice was not spectacular and fairly expensive.

Best stay ever!
Undoubtedly one of my best stays ever! Room is large and with a good city view. Everything is clean and prompt. The concierge department especially, with Wako-san and Minamoto-san for their excellent service and great help for securing us some tickets. I simply cannot find faults about this place. This hotel will surely be our top list of recommendation. I will be back for sure.
