Near subway; big room

Posted Oct 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
I was pleasantly surprised by how large the bedroom was, the bathroom was rather small, though. Hyundai Department Store is just opposite, you can make your purchases over there and get your tax refunds over there (yes, even for items not purchased at Hyundai, you just have to show them your receipt) :) There is also a post office which is relatively near, just in case you need to mail stuff back to your home country. Location-wise, it is in between Hongik Univ and Ewha Womans University which makes it really convenient too!

Expected for this rate

Posted Oct 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
It was decent for the price we paid. Very close to restaurants and transportation, did the job, but if you're looking for spa and luxury, not for you. We were out most of the day and only needed a place to sleep and clean up. Shower could be better, but that's the price you pay for lower rate.

everything is fine except the toilet is a little small in space and the shower curtain cannot stop the water from spreading on the floor all around the toilet floor. Since the room will be cleaned in alternative day, a rubbish bin in the lobby will be great. Location is definitely an advantage .

Good Price and Location

Posted Oct 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel located in Shinchon which is only 1 or 2 minutes from metro station that is very convenient to visitor who has lots of baggage. The room size is just fit. Just the toilet and shower place is a bit smaller. I think I will stay again when I travel to Seoul next time.

The only thing this place has to offer is location

Posted Sep 7, 2013
Pros: Location.
Cons: The chemical smell in the room could offend people. Sheer curtains in the bathroom would help avoid head injuries.
Location: Sinchon is a great place to drink and hang out.
This hotel was not bad, but I would probably try to find something nicer for the same price. My room had this chemical smell that was very strong. I didn't report it because I didn't want to deal with any hassle so I can't say how the staff would have handled the situation. Cleaning occurred every other day, which isn't terrible, but still a bit of a nuisance. My room was very spacious which was very nice, but the bathroom was incredibly small. I hit my head against the sink while taking a shower, that's how small it was. Not sure why the designers couldn't add an extra square foot in the bathroom. They probably should use sheer curtains instead of opaque ones to avoid future head injuries. Location was great though. It's right next to the Sinchon station.

Very close to subway station but no wifi in-room

Posted May 4, 2012 on Hotels.com
There is no wifi connection in-room. All guests have to go up to level 15 (the hotel lobby) where it is the only place available within hotel premise for wifi connection. The air-conditioner in the room is not working, but could be due to dead battery in the remote control. Hotel Staff give standard answer, "Maybe, not sure", little knowledge to answer some standard questions that would normally be asked by overseas guests :-(

The room that i book was so small far from expected. Anyway im not always at my room so its ok. The surrounding locarion was great near to subway only 3 mins away. It's so easy to travell around even the airport bus station is nearby that make me so happy. Nevertheless I like the place cos of the location and if travel in seoul again I might there again but next time I'll suite room instead

Casaville Residence, Shinchon

Posted Feb 16, 2012 on Hotels.com
I absoultely recommend this apartment to traveler. The location is very good! Just walk through pass the underground subway to arrive Shopping mall and shopping centres easily. There is many shops and restaurants nearby. To and from aiport easily by taking Airport shuttle bus 6002. The room facilities are enough. There is a small kitchen and free fiter water in the corridor. However, one point should be bear in mind that the room cleaning service will be provided per two days. I will choose this apartment again.

Nice place in a desirable area

Posted Dec 30, 2011
Pros: Location
Cons: Room cleaned every two days, not daily
Location: Terrific location
The hotel is in an excellent location: a few yards (meters) from Shinchon Station, near several universities, and in a lively, exciting part of Seoul, with good restaurants, shopping, and clubs. It was excellent for our purposes: a clean place to sleep with a responsive staff. The ambiance is very plain, with no frills. If you want a luxurious place to stay, this is not it. But, if you want a comfortable place to sleep in a desirable area, the Casaville will work for you.
