“Poor Service, below basic standards”

Hotel bed was horrible, restaurant wait staff rolls there eyes at the most basic requests. Novotel needs to retrain their staff. Stayed at 6 Novotel hotels in Asia this year and this one will be the last. No more Novotel ever again.

“Perfectly fine, but over-priced.”

I have no complaints except that hotels are generally over-priced, and this hotel is no exception. Its not a particularly good value, but its a fine hotel.

Area recommendations

Gangnam neighborhood is good. It offers a wide variety of shopping and dining options. Its a lively place.

“Will Stay Again”

The hotel was very well kept up and the rooms were clean. The only issue we had was the price of a roll-away-bed in our room. $50 a night for a roll-away-bed was a little extreme.

“Business Center staff was so helpful.”

We found some of the facilities under renovation then, so we expect that the hotel would be improved after this. Room was rather small compared to Novotel in Daegu but was fine as the price goes. Regretfully, that was not breakfast inclusive. Breakfast was not exciting as 4-star hotel but not that bad. The greatest thing for us was the staff at Business Center who was patient and very willing to service about tours and all problems.

“Good Hotel....But hard mattres”

Hotel Novotel Ambassador Gangnam is a good hotel to stay in for a couple of days. The hotel is very typical, nothing fancy, but also it was not a dump. And the price is right. I would like to also point out that I satisfied my western taste for food at a local H00ters located across the street. The only down side is that the bed was a little to hard for my taste. I would definietly return to the hotel if I'm ever in that area.

“Extremely satisfied”

This hotel is very close to Shin-Nonhyun subway station which is one of the stations of newly open subway line #9. It was very convenient to go to Yeoui-do.
