Great LocationPosted Oct 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
Oakwood reception staff always very cheerful and speaks excellent English, especially Zack. I have been staying here for the past 3 years with no regret except for the price which keeps going up and they do not provide free wifi in the room. You have to go down to the reception level 5 for that. Try asking for high floor (>15 floors) to get free public wifi (iptime). Located next to City Air Terminal check-in. good for last minute business meeting and catch the Incheon Airport Limousine bus. Journey is max 1 hr 15 mins direct. Surrounding COEX shopping mall still under massive renovation till April 2104. Only Megabox cinema and Hyundai Department storeiare still open. Some other eateries in B1 and B2 are still open and are crowded during lunchtime.. If you want shopping, take the subway to Jamsil Lotte Emart and Lotte Shopping mall, just 3 stops away. Oakwood has commenced renovations for 2 floors at a time for 2 months each.

great hotel, great location.Posted Oct 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is a gem for hotel apt. It is much bigger than I expected with 2 good bedrooms. It's not new but very well kept up and renovated. washing machine is very hard to use but it is there and they will send somone right away to help you figure it out. Service is good and location is perfect since this place is part of conglomerate of buildings called Coex center. It is modern place with shops, restaurants of all types, and a city airport. You can check in, send your luggage, get boarding pass and even immigration all done at this city airport which is part of Coex-if you go out of the hotel, it is only 2 bldgs away and can easily take your luggage there. Also there is a direct airport bus to Inchun airport, you can also come from airport by that bus which we did not know of before. It is much cheaper and comfortable than a cab since Inchun to Seoul is one hour away without traffic. Go out to bus terminal from airport and find one that says city airport and purchase ticket outside by where buses all stop. I would highly recommend this hotel which is excellent. Most taxi drivers do not know of Oakwood Hotel, you have to tell them to go to City airport in Gangnam and tell them to go just a bit further. Out of hotel are many side streets full of restaurants and shops. You walk one block in front of the hotel. Also there is a huge temple just a one block away which is a must.

Great place, excellent location BUT...Posted Jul 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
It was a really great stay. The room are great and spacious. But attention to detail regarding cleanliness is not great and the bed sheets smell really bad. On one occasion had to request housekeeping to change them 3 times.

Great for conferencesPosted Apr 27, 2013
Pros: Big room with good facilities
Location: Great for Coex
I was attending a conference at the Coex - and this hotel has a superb location for that. Literally around the corner and pleasingly close to the 'City Terminal' bus stop from Incheon Airport. Clean, large rooms and very friendly and helpful staff. Room had great facilities - fridge-freezer, microwave, electric hob, and even a washing machine! Crazy electric toilet also. Minor quibbles: 1. I felt the breakfast was expensive but most of Seoul (Gangnam area) seems expensive 2. No wifi included - even the wired connection; works out expensive if you're working 3. Bed was quite uncomfortable - was very firm

Stay in Gangnam StylePosted Jan 6, 2013
Pros: Connected to the Coex Mall, plenty of room, well equipped kitchens, lovely bathrooms. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Beds too hard, room temperature gets too warm. Also, was surprised that wifi was not free considering the standard and cost of this hotel!
Location: Location could not be better, within the Coex Mall which has excellent shopping and eating facilities. Bonus was airport bus also within same mall.
Although my family and I only stayed 3 nights, this would be an excellent hotel for an extended stay in Seoul. My two standout tips are: 1. Skip the expensive breakfast at the hotel and either get something to eat in the Foodcourt or grab some supplies from the Hyundai department store to prepare in your excellently fitted out kitchen. 2. Check in for your flight ahead of time at the city bus terminal at Coex to avoid queues at the airport.

Great stay for familiesPosted Nov 29, 2012
Pros: The large comfortable space in the rooms.
Cons: The Wifi was not free.
Location: Excellent location and very convenient with a mall underneath and metro station within walking distance
The Oakwood Premier at Coex was a wonderful apartment style hotel that had a comfortable and cozy feeling right from the beginning when you step inside. The hotel was fully furnished with comfortable beds and kitchen cutlery. The bathrooms had a modern feel with the automatic toilet and built in sauna in the shower stall. The staff was very attentive and the receptionist at the lobby were not only extremely helpful but were very kind. Overall the Oakwood Premier not only met expectations but it exceed it!
