In a nice area, close to Inchon, Mapo area.Posted Feb 12, 2014
Pros: Clean, personal bathroom, TV, minifridge.
Cons: Not much.
Location: The immeddiate area, not much, besides local shopping. But as I said, the subway is walking distance.
I wanted a spot close to everything, as convienent as possible (but doesn't everybody). FYI, taxi's are really cheap, even cheaper is the subway system. I took a $4 taxi to the subway station from the hotel. The hotel itself, is kind of tucked away, it's not visible from street view. You have to go down a little cut to get to the hotel, not a bad thing, as I said it's in a decent area. The room? It's clean, has a TV, mini fridge and your own bathroom. That's all that mattered to me. So for that, this hotel gets 5 stars. I didn't spend much time in the hotel, as I was out and about. The hotel attendant was very nice and helpful. They give you a card, to give to taxis with the hotel address in Korean, so you can just show them it and I think it says "Please return me to WS Hotel Inchon" lol. Very convienent. I would definately recommend this hotel, for the price, you CANNOT beat it.

You get what you pay for!Posted Feb 10, 2014
Pros: the bed was reasonably comfy and the sheets were clean. The price was decent enough for a single room and the location was convenient for the subway (Sinchon isn't really a touristy area though). The cons outweighed it for me though: the floor was covered in dust bunnies, the smell from the bathroom within the sleeping area was very unpleasant. The room was also very draughty and cold. So in short, I wouldn't recommend this place, if you're a backpacker looking to save money go for a hostel!

Very small room with low ceilingPosted Dec 10, 2013
Pros: Hotel staff was nice
Cons: Wallpaper is peeling and feeling apart. Room looks old. Ceiling is also extremely. Not a comfortable room at all.
Location: Location is great. Close to subway. Close to department store and shopping area.
The room was extremely but that's expected. The ceilings were extremely low. That was definitely not a pleasant feeling. Hotel staff was very pleasant.

Nice hotel in a great locationPosted Nov 19, 2013
Super little hotel. The room I had was tiny but it was only for one person and it was spotlessly clean and very cheap for that area. Great location, no great views or anything but only a 2-3 minute walk to Sinchon underground station (line 2), right in the heart of the university district. Lots of shops, bars and restaurants. The staff were super friendly and helpful and all spoke pretty good English.

Friendly staff but....Posted Oct 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
The staff that operate the hotel were very friendly and helpful but the hotel was very cramped. I was in the basement and to get to my room you had to practically do the limbo to get into the corridor which led to my room. The size was reasonable but there was a terrible smell inside and when I moved the drawer near the t.v to retrieve an item that dropped behind there was a build up of dust and rubbish that had been there for years it looked like.

close to station and hongdaePosted Sep 22, 2013
Pros: the staff is friendly
Cons: the smelll of outside sometimes is like sewer
you get what you pay for...if you are a tall person be aware as you may not fit into the bathroom. It has a convenient location as is very near to the station , has a super market just round the corner and good restaurants around.

A nice stayPosted Sep 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
I had a nice stay in the WS. It is a little harder to find, but people working in the area all seem to know it and can direct you. The staff is exceptionally kind and courteous. They also speak English very well. The neighborhood is great for shopping and getting delicious food. The room has many nice amenities including a fridge, shampoo, body wash, AC, complimentary water bottles, noon check-out time, easy and cheap airport access via a nearly direct subway line, etc. The only complaint I have is that the beds weren't that comfortable and seemed a little old and worn. But, I got a great deal on the place, so that is a small complaint. Overall, I am very satisfied with the place and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice budget hotel in downtown Seoul.
