“convenient to airport”

Insist on your room type. We had a confirmed king and they tried 2 singles on us. I insisted and we finished up with a king suite. Very convenient for flight stopover. Allow 1 hour to get to the LCCT terminal from the hotel which is adjacent to the KLIA main terminal.

Area recommendations

This hotel is near the airport .... about 30 minutes from the city by expresss trail. In KL stay in the Golden Triangle area. There are plenty of hotels. local transport is not expensive.

“Convenience at a cost”

This was my first layover at Kuala Lumpur's international airport and so I decided to stay at the hotel in the airport itself. On arrival, I was glad to see the hotel's desk inside the terminal. There I obtained instructions how to reach the hotel lobby and the plastic "key" to the room. Considering the distance from the arrivals area to the hotel, it is relatively complicated---at least, the first time. In theory, there are "golf carts" available to transport guests to and from the hotel lobby. However, by the time you reach the departure point, you have covered most of the distance to the hotel. Furthermore, after a flight, it feels good to stretch ones legs. Likewise in the morning. Hence I did not use the carts either going or coming. The hotel lobby is very large and very anonymous. Regrettably smoking is allowed so that the guests have to "run the gauntlet" between smokers in order to reach the elevators. By checking in at the desk inside the terminal, one does not have to spend much time in this lobby area. The rooms are old-fashioned and the electrical system unnecessarily awkward. I fiddled around for much too much time in order to switch on a news channel before I went to sleep. The bed was moderately comfortable.

Area recommendations

The hotel is connected to Kuala Lumpur international airport and I only went from the terminal to the hotel and the hotel to the terminal. I cannot imagine any other purpose in staying at this hotel than spending the night between an evening flight in and a morning flight out.

“Excellent hotel!”

I was travelling alone with the children and was worried about security. I need not have worried. The hotel and the staff were fantastic. The kids especially loved the golf buggy. I would suggest getting the shuttle bus to KLIA for 2.5 ringgit if travelling to LCCC and then the free transport from KLIA to the hotel. The alternative is 30 ringgit for hotel shuttle or 70 ringgit for the hotel limousine.

“Perfect for early departure or late arrival”

I used the hotel to rest after a tiring intercontinental flight that arrived at 5 am on KLIA. Even at that time the golfcart shuttle was waiting and the checkin went smoothless. Note that it is also possible to walk the distance to/from the airport yourself within a few minutes. During the day I received a call from the bellboy who wanted to deliver the luggage, which was obviously not mine since I already checked in a few hours ago. I found this a serious mistake in a hotel that so many guests use to catch up sleep. The restaurant Traveller's was excellent. The gym facilities are ok. Besides that, there is nothing to do or see near the hotel and the airport. The hotel is perfect for early departures and late arrivals.

“Pan Pacific a nice layover”

I was very satisfied with the hotel service and room. The staff were expecting me and had a golf cart ready to take me to the hotel. I had an early morning flight and check out and shuttle back to the airport was fast. The only downside is that you have to clear immigration and customs as the hotel is not actually in the airport terminal.

There is another hotel in the airport which would have been a better choice for my schedule.

“Typical airport hotel”

The hotel is excellent, but there is nothing to do or see around it. I recommend it for travellers who arrive very late at or leave very early from Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
