Hotel was just OK, but we will not be going therePosted Mar 12, 2014
Cons: bathroom smell seemed cleaned with dirty towels.
Location: that was the good thing, location
We had work in the area and we were on a time crunch. There was a huge misunderstanding with the communication between us and expedia and the hotel. Price was not honored. we paid 20.00 more than agreed. Was not worth it.

Not all Best Westerns the same qualityPosted Oct 12, 2013
Location: The hotel is in the same parking lot as a Walgreens and Panda Express
We stayed in a Best Western in Valencia and it was great! We figured the Best Westerns would be of similar quality and standard but this particular Best Western was out dated and dingy. There were a couple of things that we updated (the TV and sink area, maybe the carpet) but it felt like coming into a hotel from the 80's with the old style bedspread that didn't even match the dust ruffle. Overall, this hotel should have been charging closer to $50 a night instead of the $90+ we ended up paying.

Happy for the most partPosted Feb 17, 2013
Pros: Very accommodating staff, clean, easy access to Rt. 99 and grocery store, restaurants, drug store and Walmart and reasonable price.
Cons: Having to ask for everything especially to open the fitness room and bathroom next to it and the laundry area.
Location: Great location. Next to Rt. 99, grocery store, restaurants, Walmart and drug stores.
The couple that ran this hotel were very helpful. They offered sodas and waters for sale. They left breakfast out longer for their guests if we needed it. They made the coffee extra strong upon request. The waffle iron didn't even need spray oil -lower fat. They were helpful in supplying quarters for the washer and laundry detergent for sale and even dryer sheets. We loved the location too because it was close to other businesses like a drug store, grocery store and even a walmart. Also right next to Rt. 99. What we didn't like was having to ask for everything, although it did keep our boys from buying sodas. Also, the bathroom next to the laundry room and fitness room was always locked. Sometimes in a hotel room more than one person has to use the bathroom at the same time. It would be more convenient to have these open. It's very hard sometimes to get inspired to work out and having the door locked just deterred us from doing it.

Stuck in SelmaPosted Nov 25, 2010
The hotel was located behind other business, so access from the street was awkward. Staff were polite and welcoming. Facilities were clean and adequate. It met basic needs, but did not stand out as a place I will remember or recommend.
