"Great location, with great facilities!!!"
We have stayed for 2 weeks, from June 25th - July 9th 2014. Overall, great place for vacation. Location is perfect. Facilities are superb (pool, terrasses, breakfast/lunch/dinner at the hotel's restaurant). The only thing they could improve is the quality of the mattress... Very harsh, from our point of view. They have tried to fix it it with additional sheets... It was much better :) From the airport/Sana - You can reserve a taxi with with Badger Tour Sesimbra. Francisco is a professional and great guy. If you wish to take the metro bus, expect a 1.30 hr ride (easy but a bit long, after a 7 hrs flight). We have rented a car with Francisco to go to Porto. It takes 4 hrs to get there... But it's really worth it!! Many great restaurants around!!! If you are looking for a nice beach (sea is cold...), while discovering some cities in Portugal (Lisbon, Sintra, Porto, etc.,), Sesimbra is a nice location. Enjoy,

"Nice break for everyone"
Really nice hotel and great staff. We had a top floor room which we recommend and the waves of the ocean are nice to lull you to sleep. We just did cooked breakfast since it was low season which we recommend. Lot of cereals fruit meats and hot food not great eggs. For dinner you ate in the small bar area, lots of restaurants very close by. The spa was small but nice and they had specials in some afternoon hours. Amazing lower lobby with all beautiful tiles really pretty. Staff helped us get calls and visit the small vineyards. We really suggest Jose Maria da Fonseca wine place for a tour a taxi was about 25 euros return. We would visit and stay again but in the quiet season would imagine it would be very busy in summer rooms quiet though you did not hear any neighbours.

Pocket Guide: Sesimbra, Lisbon Bar Hotels

A picturesque fishing port, Sesimbra is popular with Lisbon dwellers seeking a weekend escape. Renowned for its pretty promenades and beaches, Sesimbra is also a terrific place to eat fish. Hikers won't be let down if they climb atop the hill behind town to the 13th century Dom Sancho II, a restored medieval castle. Next door is the 12th century Church of Santa Maria, also worth a look.
